REC Youāre benefiting your team by quitting. Your AI will play defense and can make shots. Feel free to quit if you miss you first few horrible takes. Thanks.
That is all.

After completing 7/10 challenges in the specialization, I can share a couple things Iāve noticed.
- The bonus badges can be used for ANY badges, not just shooting or those specifically related to your desired specialization
- Instead of the 2 archetype names we got last year (Automatic and Green Light), there are 4 this time (Pull-Up Predator, From Deep, Deadeye Demon, and Verde)
Mycareer and Dionās open runs on rookie mode are still the fastest way to get these challenges done

If you are a guard or forward with a 89 3 ball and canāt hit a shot, look not further
Base Devin booker
Both releases Larry bird
Make release exactly at set point and make visual queue set point as well, mess with the timing but I found one tick slower is really good
Release when ball is brought all the way back
Green window is massive went from 30% to 70% instantly. Was playing proving grounds and didnāt miss 20 open 3ās in a row

I play pretty much only rec and usually have a state line that has assist and rebounds well into Double digits. This is mostly from rebounds then outlet pass or offensive boards and open threes. Iāve just about had it with people building PF builds thinking theyāre KD, while theyāre 7 foot opposite is rim running and grabbing boards. Like youāre 2/17 please just hold l2 in front of your man so he stops boxing me out please. Guards and forwards literally expect you to out jump the other center while the pf is bussing it back on me and our PF is under their rim. Not to mention the guards and small forwards who sprint into the paint to steal your rebound every time because they canāt shoot or get any stats any other way. I find it hilarious as Iām literally feeding these players the only points they will get through fast breaks but they wonāt even pass me the ball if Iām open under the basket. IF YOU WANT TO ONLY PLAY OFFENSE AND SHOOT SHIT SHOTS PLAY CAREER MODE.

Go to Hallows Park and put your matchup to Mays. Heās a 5ā10 slashing PG who does layups. When heās bringing the ball up just play to the side and get a block when he goes paint. He also has a very slow jumper thatās easy to block.
This video is with a 6ā7 SF with enough block for bronze High Flyer Denier.

Centers are the back bone of Rec and Pro-Am (Crews). So many people are trash at creating their own shot that they have to rely on the Center grabbing a defensive board and getting it to them on an outlet pass. Meanwhile, if itās not a fast break, Centers are forced to sit in the corner and āwaitā for the guards to āget busyā. Show some love to your Centers.

Bro why does everyone believe they the best player on the planet on rec?š I just played a game with a 99 overall and he did NOTHINGššš 9/21 to get 20 points? Do yall just play career on hof and then think your the best of the best??

Look, if we're being honest, I know everyone hates locked or "canned" shading animations since it dictates where the offense is allowed to go, but if we're being completely honest, that's just realistic.
Nobody in real basketball just lets the ball handler get to wherever they wanna go. They dictate where you're allowed to go by creating cutoff angles, or shading you in one direction & forcing you to make a play.
In older games, if you took a bad angle & got locked into a shading animation, a good portion of the time you were either forced to switch dribbling hands, pass, shoot, or simply wait until the ball handler regained his balance, which was a good thing.
It created more of a chess match on D, that not only rewarded good basketball IQ, but in general, just looked much more physical. These days in these newer games? Animation cancelling can just bail you out of anything essentially.

is that it forces you to grind the game in a very specific way, and anything else you do in the game feels like a waste. I hate that feeling.
A lot of the quests are extremely grindy and require players to progress in a very specific, sometimes even glitchy, way. Spamming shots/blocks for 10+ hours is incredibly tedious. But if you play the game normally and actually try to enjoy the experience, some of these quests could take months to complete.
Quest progress only stacks when unlocked. Before completing your current quest, a lot of the other things you do in the game feel completely pointless because they donāt contribute to your progression at all, and thatās a huge negative for the overall experience. I have to get 300 blocks before my steal starts to count. Why?
For example, letās say your current quest requires you to win 50 games. Unless you completely ignore the rewards from the Spec System, you basically shouldnāt be playing NBA, enjoying the Scenario, or doing other activities until you finish that quest by playing hella rounds of Street Kings. Otherwise, youāre either painfully grinding or wasting your time. So pick your poison.

So you are telling me instead of just giving us the option to play eras after choosing modern NBA, we have to make a completely new build⦠So how are we supposed to play co-op and eras, drop another $100 or grind from 60?

I think it would be a great addition to the game if you could ask your coach to sit for a few minutes to rebuild stamina.

Unless youāre playing against someone with the same low strength your ball handle means nothing. Iāve seen it over and over in PGs because they really think they gonna just breeze past and they just dribble their stam down and run into a brick wall. And u lowkey donāt even need a crazy strength level. I got a 75 and 90% of my match ups have 25. 90+ ball handle and canāt go anywhere. Moral of the story is donāt forget strength off your player. Especially if youāre trying to dribble.
