Need a friend/ study buddy!(OSU-OKC)
I’ve been really struggling to stay on task and getting my work done! My friend who I studied with all the time went to the military so I’m stuck on getting my work done!
I usually LOVE getting super ahead of my work so I’m not stressed but I just can’t seem to do it without someone holding me accountable! but also it’s nice just to have friends! Tbh it doesn’t matter to me what your major is or what classes youre taking! I just need someone to study with and a genuine friend! Preferably anyone ranging from 18-20! Help a girl out😭😭

Those who are looking for friends!!!
I was thinking about maybe putting together a gathering for all of us who were struggling to make friends / connections on campus!!
I am a transfer student myself and have had such a hard time trying to make friends. I just feel like having a friend on campus would make school more enjoyable for me and I’m sure a lot others. If you’re interested in this leave a comment!
I’m thinking maybe a pizza night at empire or something:)

Need a Study Buddy for Calc I
I'm struggling with staying disciplined with studying, and think a study buddy might help. I'd particularly love for someone also going through math2144 as thats the class that worries me the most atm. Im also in Chem1414 and CS1113 if you need to study for those.
For the most part, my only available times would be Monday after 330, Tue between 4 and 6, and Wed after 330. I figure we'd meet at the library.

Jobs
I recently applied for 2 different jobs at the library, and I’m wondering usually how easy are those jobs to get and how long do they usually take to get back to you? And on the chance I don’t get either of them what’s an easy job to get that doesn’t suck lol

Where to make friends at campus?
I’m a commuter student. it’s my third year and I haven’t made any friends at all. no, joining a club didn’t help. I joined the swimming club and people were quite rude.
anything else that isn’t a club or a fraternity? I also heard the fraternities are quite racist…
I tried talking to a girl in my lecture but she was aloof and indifferent. not just her, everyone in campus seems aloof and indifferent. it’s really harmed my mental health.

Trying to start a meteorological society club on campus
What makes us qualified to start this? We are working in conjunction with OU staff/students and utilizing their meteorology program to have a slight intro to meteorology at our school.
We need 10 members to be "charter members" in order for the university to allow us to begin, and If you are interested in being one of those ten, sign up here! https://forms.gle/BWu1q1GKVwoyAbuc7
P.s. Sorry for the rough poster (maybe its a refresher from all the AI posters though!)

Refund dates?
Does anyone know the latest date I will receive my refund? I stopped by the financial aid office and they told me there’s nothing more to do on my end, I just have to wait. But it’s the second week of school, so surely it won’t be long, right?

M.S. in Biomedical Sciences Information Needed
Hi everyone! I’m considering applying to the M.S. in Biomedical Sciences at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, particularly the Pathology area, and would appreciate some advice.
My academic background is in medicine, with over 2 years of clinical experience, research experience in systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical data analysis, and some molecular/PCR exposure, along with multiple publications. My main interests are molecular pathology, cancer research, and translational research.
How competitive is admission to this program, and does my profile seem like a good fit?
Also, should I consider applying to OSU's M.S. in Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology as well, or does the Biomedical Sciences/Pathology track seem like a better fit for my background and goals?

MLSC Question
This is going to sound kinda lame but whatever. I am in a pre calc course this semester which requires me to go do a written homework assignment at the MLSC each week, apparently it’s available there and I need to be at the ‘tech free’ table. I have anxiety about new places so the fact that I’d be going with no info on where im supposed to go or ask for the assignment or anything stresses me out. So if anybody knows how im supposed to go about doing that, would you please lmk lmao?? Sounds stupid but I’m actually so stressed about it

Stillwater scene
Hey y'all, heading to town for the Oregon game in a few weeks, and I haven't been there since 09 or so. Getting in Friday afternoon and will be there through the end of the game. Other than Eskimo Joes, where can a couple of middle age guys kill some time on Friday night? Anything I should make sure my friend sees or does since it's his first trip? TIA!

Cheap food options?
I’m an incoming freshman and trying to make my meal plan last as much as possible. What are some of the best places to eat on campus without spending as much?

Why don't we have a college radio station?
Even Rogers State and UCO have student ran stations, and I feel like it is kind of a huge part of the college experience especially at bigger schools. If anybody knows why we don't we have one anymore, and who I can contact to get ours back please let me know. This school is too big and has too much money for there not to be one.

Should I start a computer business as a student?
I'm currently looking for a side-hustle right now so I can come up with some money to help with bills and such however I'm still on the fence about following through. Working with computers is what I'm best at honestly. Would a computer consultation business in the Stillwater area be useful to students or no? What services would people be looking for and willing to pay for? Not looking to overcharge ppl either. Would love some feedback and recommendations!

Looking for fishing buddies
Hey I am international grad students (not in fisheries program). I have pretty basic/beginner skill when it comes to fishing but I'd love to try to set my hook here in US. I am looking for a group that frequently goes out for fishing and willing to take more guys in.
