LOL sometimes grandma's aren't too grandma-like. At one point in their lives they were young and pretty too

My mom came from a large family and I asked my grandma why did she have so many kids. Her reply "I just liked doing it with your grandfather too much... and before we knew it, there was another baby"

My 82-year-old mother-in-law told me that she once asked her mother how come she only had two children, despite being married quite young.

The answer was "Because I behaved myself'" which I always thought was a really sad answer.

The blanket hung from the ceiling the length of the bed, creating a divide down the middle could be considered a form of birth control, I suppose.

🙄🤣there were barriers methods before the pill...they were just whispered quietly married woman to married woman..they weren't broadcast.
