Ok so while watching 1176 i had a thought after the seen with loki and luffy fully stuffed, loki says bring more meat and luffy says you’re a funny guy, and looks at the sky thinking about it with a weird face. It made me think that Luffy is probably the first person to understand the “shame of elpaf” and not see him as a monster. I’m thinking he probably will join the straw hats but he would never physically fit on the sunny. which made me think of how log poses are attached to the magnetic field of the island, and if somehow franky or Oda would consider the idea of giving the sunny its own eternal log pose. This would further support the idea Loki may join straw hats as a direct ali. Lmk what you think.

Just what if, i have no concrete proof or evidence to provide but i have been in the journey of one piece since day one. all the countless rewatch and re read. so all this is just a big “what if”

i remembered in one of the sbs oda teases , said that there will be a strawhat dies in the end, now this was past going merry arc. now that of all the strawhats with their each dream, i have always believed that “usopp” will be the one, how he want to be the “bravest” and ultimately dreaming of travelling to elbaph. now that we are in elbaph arc, and usopp havent make much of appearance. Luffy facing the endgame boss i just dont see how he will manage to come out victory.

for the manga readers, we know where we are up to now.

now the big “what if” is that usopp somehow in someway by the will of the author manage to get the strawhat out of elbaph to save them from the endgame boss by staying behind to face it sacrifing himself . now this maybe the original timeline where usopp has to dies but due to all the theory have been circulating around and oda hate to make them come true and decided to keep usopp alive and when it come to final war, usopp coming back bringing the whole armada of elbaph behind him to aid luffy fighting Imu and BB. i think this would be very epic for usopp

I feel like One Piece separates intelligence into a lot of different forms. Vegapunk is brilliant but not necessarily wise, while Luffy can be an idiot and still understand people or situations better than almost anyone. Then you have characters like Sanji, Jinbe, Rayleigh, Franky, and Noland, who are each capable in completely different ways.

So, forgetting stated IQ or who is technically the “smartest,” which male character has a mind or general approach to life that you genuinely admire or would want to / try to emulate?

In Dressrosa, Dofflamingo told Law that if he had the ability of the op op fruit to switch bodies and to perform the eternal life surgery, he could control the national treasure of Mariejouis.
Now I believe that the national treasure of mariejouis is actually “The Devils fruit” or the “Akuma No mi” that is currently held by Imu, similar to the national treasure of Elbaph which also turned out to be a devil fruit.

Moreover, it makes sense when we learn in Elbaph that Imu’s body isn’t made to survive outside of mariejouis, and so it could be that long ago, probably in the void century, a previous user of the “Op Op Fruit” performed the eternal life surgery on Imu by creating a “Room” space that keeps Imu’s body immortal as long as he’s in Mariejouis.

Furthermore, Dofflamingo probably knows about Imu which is why he tells Law that if he had the ability of the op op fruit to switch personalities, he could take over Imu’s body and rule the world!

Thoughts?

I'm at the part of One piece where White Beard has invaded Marineford to rescue Ace, along with Luffy. There are a bunch of devil fruit powered individuals on the marine's side, some of them Luffy just barely defeated by the skin of his teeth, some he had to run away from because they are too strong, and some with Logia powers like Smoker and Borsalino.

The only way I could see Luffy beating everybody (I hear rumors he's going to lose) is if he took Smoker's Seastone stick and started pummeling all the devil fruit users with it. He could easily put on gloves to handle it and he likes to pummel his opponents with his incredible strength and martial prowess. His powers of stretching his body means he also has tremendous reach and he has demonstrated great skill at crowd control for unpowered individuals like any DF user who has been pummeled with Seastone.

But if a Logia turns into an element like smoke or light would the weapon immediatly return them to normal physical form if he hits their essence with it? Otherwise they are invincible and he's out of luck.

But either way I know he's not going to do that because plot reasons (I guess even villains have plot armor), still would this strategy work? I would think Luffy would be stronger and faster than Smoker and could wrestle the stick from him.

The fact that ryunosuke is a pink dragon like momo or that he is a dragon like kaido?

My brother said his classmate read or watched one piece so now he’s also reading the manga

According to him it was interesting enough to read volumes 1-3 in the library! My main concern if it’s appropriate because I want to make sure my brother isn’t exposed to much sexualization and inappropriate topics for his age

I never read or watched it but I know the men and women in this case, have abnormal body shapes that are animated inappropriately so my main concern is his eyes

Then again, he’s reading the manga! I’m not trying to gate keep him from peak or anything but i didn’t read mangas or watch anime until I was 13

i’m not really sure. some arcs like dressrosa and wano were horrible to get through, but having a bunch of filler would be a big letdown a lot of the time
