Both water and fiber.
Fiber needs water to do it‘s job. Together they keep things moving smoothly and prevent constipation (You just need to make sure that you increase your fiber intake slowly)
My wife has been on a fiber kick. She got taco shells with extra fiber for me (she doesnt eat tacoshells). Neither of us bothered to see exactly how much fiber was in each shell. It was 17grams. 61% of your daily fiber needs. Per shell. I had 4. I didnt shit for 2 days. But when I did shit, it was the best shit I had ever had in my life. I was on a camping trip and we were just sitting in the woods. I was surrounded by beautiful scenery, birds chirping, low thunder rolling in the distance, a very very light rain, and a shit that easily took 30 minutes with minimal fighting. I dont think ill ever achieve that level of peace again.
Anytime I take off my shirt, it's not because of constipation. For me, it's when I ball out on some spicy food, when I get the hershey squirts, or both :)
Lmao what? Fiber makes your shit softer and easier to pass not bigger. Who the hell told you that fiber makes your shits bigger? 😂
I drink a lot of protein powder and before taking metamucil I was always shitting these horrific solid as a rock turds that took endless straining to get out despite drinking liters of water every day. Started taking metamucil (a fiber supplement) and after that I now get these nice perfect soft turds that barely need any wiping and squeeze out super easy.
It depends on the type of fiber and also how used you are to eating fiber. Metamucil is soluble fiber, which is the gentler of the two generally speaking. Insoluable fiber, sometimes known as roughage, comes from things like cruciferous vegetables, nuts and seeds, etc. It doesn't get completely broken down by the body so it adds bulk to the stool.
For ease of passing, if you are used to eating very little fiber and don't dial it up slowly enough, it can actually constipate you or cause a blockage. Or extremely painful shits.
i read some and saw some doctors say it.
actually it makes bigger in size id you dont drink enough water to support it. however it will make longer and soft if you drink water.
Well they're one of the very few here who thinks we're talking about constipation. Everyone else is discussing having the shits, which is when you have these symptoms.
You know that ring sting where it feels like you are pooping out literal lava? My body doesn't take spice very well and unbearable spice pain begins at like... jalapenos.
This happens after every camping trip. Doesn't matter how much fiber I eat or what. My body just locks things down in unfamiliar territory, then I have a backlog (heh) to clear when I get home.
Those guys are so true. Last year I was in Thailand and get sick from dirty water (it was rainy and Phuket beach and sea become polluted by city stocks). I was nauseous, sweaty af, I shit in the toilet and vomit in the shower simultaneously. After that I just lay down on the floor and pass out for a few minutes (really pass out). Those hell lasts all night, once per hour. Poisoning not a joke lmao.

Because if your really shitting for your life, your gonna sweat a lot doing. Makes sense to take your top off to avoid. And it can be more comfortable
