I had a guy in my middle school/junior high class whose mom was a moderately well-known former porn actress. It honestly got him more cred than shit. I saw the opposite happen. Buddy from high school had (has? Idk we lost touch) a step parent who was at the time a decently well known porn star. He was super embarrassed about it and we only found out because we hung out enough that I and a couple other kids heard her start talking about it.

Yeah, I'm a progressive myself, but even I have a limit where I think the "sexual revolution" has gone too far. Everything has limits, and this whole sex work is real work, minimizing of something like this... Is disgusting and harmful. It's just sending young, desperate, women down terrible paths.

I've known people who worked in the sex industry, and to the outside world they try to play it up as normalized and professional. it's not. It inherently can't be. Sex is inherently a seedy sketchy perverted industry, and you're around that all day. Those type of characters, people, who are driven by sexual hedonism so much that they make a career out of it. It's ALL shady, exploitative, and absolutely life ruining. OF just made it easier.

And I DO feel bad for them. These are mostly young women. Dumbass 20 year olds with hot tits, thinking they can make huge amounts of money with zero idea about marketing, all the hard work, leadgen, partnerships, strategy, and general business. They think they can just throw their buttholes on the internet and men are going to start flooding them with money.

But unlike my dumbass who's made tons and tons of poor choices in life, I have the privilege of that being private. These ladies have it follow them forever for everyone to know wherever they go. I was in an EU office and one of the Americans there was really nice. Some intern saw me talking to her and he immediately showed me her porn video. I think he will be able to go without his school mates ever knowing about this at all, it's not that hard to hide with some simple precautions like going by a different last name.
