I had a guy in my middle school/junior high class whose mom was a moderately well-known former porn actress. It honestly got him more cred than shit. He also got very good at trash talking other people’s moms (”my mom got paid to get spooged, yours paid me to pity fuck her”). His younger sister had a much worse time though, afaik. Because as crude and shitty teenage boys can be, teenage girls is another level.

I saw the opposite happen. Buddy from high school had (has? Idk we lost touch) a step parent who was at the time a decently well known porn star. He was super embarrassed about it and we only found out because we hung out enough that I and a couple other kids heard her start talking about it.

But he swore us to secrecy and was almost crying asking us not to spread it around. I never asked, but I always wondered if he had problems at his last school due to it and that’s why he transferred to my school halfway through his 10th grade year.

So the step mom was talking about it in front of her step-son's teenage friends? What a crap step parent. IMHO. there is no way she wouldn't know that the kid would have to deal with once the classmates found out, did she care about this kid at all?

No, step mom was talking on the kitchen phone and said enough stuff that we could all overhear that connecting the dots was easy enough.

I will be honest, I had relatively limited interactions with her but she didn’t seem all there. So maybe she legitimately was unaware of how he felt about the whole thing.

None of that tracks as effective insults in a socially liberal, sex-positive country. The fact that his mom used to be smoking hot and fuck on screen was just… whatever, now she was still hot, had a decent career and a loving husband and stable family. At any rate that’s a better and more fulfilling life than any of his bullies had. I guess he just got good and deriving strength from that basic truth.
