I had a guy in my middle school/junior high class whose mom was a moderately well-known former porn actress. It honestly got him more cred than shit. He also got very good at trash talking other people’s moms (”my mom got paid to get spooged, yours paid me to pity fuck her”). His younger sister had a much worse time though, afaik. Because as crude and shitty teenage boys can be, teenage girls is another level.

I saw the opposite happen. Buddy from high school had (has? Idk we lost touch) a step parent who was at the time a decently well known porn star. He was super embarrassed about it and we only found out because we hung out enough that I and a couple other kids heard her start talking about it.

But he swore us to secrecy and was almost crying asking us not to spread it around. I never asked, but I always wondered if he had problems at his last school due to it and that’s why he transferred to my school halfway through his 10th grade year.

No no. According to the above above comment, if the child has adapted to swearing at people and making yo mama jokes so that people would back off from making fun of him, he’s totally ok and has street cred or some shit!!
