help request HELLO INTERNET... this is harder than I thought.
(linux fedora)So in my previous post I mentioned a little personal protect I was working on called the "universal DAW project". basically a community made theme and key bind configuration from every major DAW, shoehorn it into reaper and hope for the best.
well it turns out that's harder then I thought. for some reason the configurations keep braking and messing with each other... which is less then ideal
now a lot of people were saying "ehhh make reaper what ever you want it to be" and I want it to be ableton, logic, protools, studio one and reaper all at once. is it practical for my own workflow, no. but I'm not looking for that, I'm looking for a way to emulate other daw workflows and looks on one open source daw. will it be one to one, HELL NO, but will it be close, yea.
what would be the best way to go about doing this without braking everything? also what would be the cleanest way to go about it, please let me know.
all I ask is you don't hate what I'm trying to do and instead see what I'm doing as something that could be really useful in more professional environments.
that's all, once again please keep the comments civil and informative, good day!
