I’ve done a fair amount of reading on this watch, and it seems like the only real option for this out there is RGF, right? Is RGF’s factory plating recommended overall? And are there any RWI TDs who will source RGF? I see genreps1755 or ora being used, but neither are actual TDs

TD said its 1-2 days for QC when I sent the money, a month and a half later still hasn't send any QC photos. 😂 is it normal?

Can someone direct me to a side by side comparison of these if they know one? Trying to find one but can't seem to. If there's no pics can someone let me know how close the dial colors are?

I do not really have a very good eye for details. But now when i look up the qc of the rep i am currently looking to buy i see some comments with mixed feelings. Right now i am debating between the black dial black bay pro or white dial. I do prefer the white dial. But i feel like its easier to spot the flaws on that one? The only real concern i have is the indices. Mostly the 9, but in some pics also the 6. The 9 seems a little crooked on both the white and black. But the 6 looks good in some pics i see then crooked in some others.

I’ve also seen some people saying the indices are slightly too small on the rep but personally i cant see it.

Does the quality of each batch from zf (especially the bb pro) really vary that much?

I’m looking at some VSF Datejusts and have it narrowed down to three colors: Wimbledon, Rhodium and ombré green. Which would you folks choose? I like the gold crown and green on the Wimbledon but already have a DJ with Roman numerals. I feel like the rhodium will go with anything. I love the ombré green color but may clash depending on the situation?

These aren’t exactly the same watch but the rep is unbelievably good. Finishing is very similar and crystal is identical. The only flaw with the black laquer is the last link at the clasp that binds. Just need to remove the last link and carefully shave some material off and it is near perfect. Obviously the movements between them are different and feel different.

Needless to say, I need to pick up a couple more VSF Aqua Terras

Hey y’all, I just received my QF 126500LN today and I’m a bit disappointed to say the least.

I ordered the clear caseback version so i could look at the beautiful movement inside, but the bridge is incredibly scratched and I wasn’t able to spot that on the blurry qc pics i got but saw it instantly irl. Am I justified in being annoyed at my TD for not spotting something so obvious? And then the chrono function doesn’t even work properly. When I reset the chrono the seconds hand overshoots the 0 point by 1-2 seconds in either direction. Not normal I assume and also something I feel QC should’ve noticed.

What are your opinions?

Blurry pic is the one I got from qc. (Now I can tell the scratch is there but with the image quality it wasn’t clear before)

I can honestly live with the scratch on the movement since it’s on the back anyways, just a bit sad about it but the chrono is the bigger issue.

TLDR:
Chrono hand overshoots when reset and fat scratches on movement bridge

I thought when I was looking at US based sellers I saw some do testing and regulating for you and could have sworn I saw someone claiming to do some waterproofing and testing to 10-bar as a service.

Can anyone point me to who that is / if that claim is legit?

I’ve read a lot of reps will have failures at 5-bar even with service.

I am really enjoying my new DJ Wimbledon and now thinking about my next rep. I can’t decide between the sub/gmt/yacht

I love the style of the yacht, I’ve always wanted a Pepsi BUT I understand that the 126610LN sub is supposedly the best NWBIG from VSF and would love to own one.

Would love the community opinions on this and from actual owners and which one you believe is the go to when you compare them against each other.

I know the 226677 QF free sprung yacht is also NWBIG too but interested in knowing others thoughts
