Any recommendations? Looking for something what I can play on my phone (iphone)

Ideally free or demo/trial at least

I attempted to create a “rhythm controller” for my daughter - it’s definitely a new genre for me, but she enjoys a lot of these games. I plan on doing a V2 of this controller once she gives me some feedback on what needs to change. Here’s a quick post I made about it on the Polycade Reddit, but does anyone have suggestions on how to make a controller that is universal for many of the rhythm / music based games available on Steam - or is this a pretty standard / good layout to start with?

How do you guys manage with this?

recently i saw a demo here in the devs twitter account, do you know how to tap the notes (in the demo), it seems like any keys won't react (exclude bksp,enter,arrow keys)

If a group were brand new to rhythm games and the first game they wanted to seriously learn was ddr, how would YOU teach them note speed?

The game is Free on Itch and called 2Twisted.
You use 2 mice to swipe to the beat.

The game requires a high amount of skill, like a crazy amount, hopefully the easy charts are easy enough with the difficulty reducing mods (Free Aim).

I am pretty skilled at Osu! , Rhythia and FPS games so this might be impossible for someone who has never played an aim based game 😬.

It works on windows and linux and should work on mac but i never tested it.

Also on a high end PC it can handle both mice at 8k hz.

I will answer any questions and am actively adding features and stuff, and will take feedback and feature requests.

The camera-tracked rhythm game I posted here in February released this weekend. Two promises from that thread shipped: someone asked about custom beat maps and I said the editor was on the roadmap, and someone else said this looks like a game for friends after a few drinks, so I promised a split-screen versus mode. Both made it into the release, so this post is partly a thank you.

What got added since February:

• Local versus. The screen splits in half and a second phone works as the second tracker. Each player gets their own camera and their own track, so you don't block each other. Same song, same room, two scores, and the loser hears about it immediately.
• A level editor that runs in the browser (https://editor.catchflex.com/), nothing to install. Bring your own music, chart it yourself, and the level is a single file you can share. Import works on every platform, consoles and TVs included. If you build something, I genuinely want to see it. Charting for a full body is a different kind of puzzle, and I am curious what you come up with.
• Vol. 1 is complete: ten hand-charted tracks, house, electro and techno, 90 to 150 BPM. Charted for what a real body can do, everything within reach, no jumping.
• Global leaderboards per song, and they are basically empty right now.

Tracking works the same two ways: a webcam right in the game, or a free phone app that does the pose recognition on the phone and sends only joint data to the game over Wi-Fi (I recommend the app). You still need room to move and decent light. The free demo on Steam is the first track with no time limit, so you can check your space before paying anything.

So I purchased this card at the WMMT terminal. And when I saw some similar cards on the website, it had an ic amusement logo in it. But mine doesn't, the strange part it when I try to use it on maimai, it works and it saves my data. Does it really matter?

Is there a tablet that's regarded as particularly good for rhythm gaming? I assume low latency and headphone jack are the most important features.

• A basic rhythm game in spirit of Muse Dash and UNBEATABLE
• It can read specific OSU files similar to OSU!Mania - so as long as there is a Beatmap, it can play it!
• First ever game i made (Godot Engine) - officially "project completed!"
• I also made a Beatmap editor for it (which was actually the bigger project, but doesn't look as fancy lol)

Just sharing because i'm proud of this accomplishment
