I started the intake form, and it said that my insurance covers it. However, at the end, it’s telling me to pay $39 and I will be charged the full $149 if I proceed, but then it also says that the MEDICATION COST IS SEPERATE. I am confused, does my insurance cover it or not? I would appreciate if someone can share their overall experience with Ro.

If you for any reason need to cancel your membership, you will not be refunded. It’s not even clear what the purpose of the membership is other than to trap you into a cost. Maybe I’m stupid but I did not understand that the membership is a completely separate cost and they will bill you on a random day. I am out 534$ for literally no reason. I reached out to them immediately and they said the same thing twice: no refunds are issued on the membership. I can’t believe I fell for this. The support team is absolute garbage. It’s actually cheaper to just get this medication through a doctor.

If your BMI starts in the insurance covered range (>30%) but you go under it thanks to weight loss, do they stop covering your meds?

I've been on Zepbound through Ro for two years now (started 24 Aug 2024) and have lost 110lb. Current dose is 15mg weekly. I've reached my goal weight and would now like to maintain; when I put in for my next prescription, the provider said they were kicking me back to the starter dose (5mg)? I'm concerned that such a huge drop all at once is going to bring back all of the food noise and undo the hard work I've done so far. u/AliceFromRo, is it possible to maybe step down more slowly? Or is this normal and I just don't know it because I've never been here before?

For anyone using Ro for weight loss: how much exercise do you typically do each week, and for how long per workout? I’m curious what’s realistic and what others have been advised to do.

Originally, for months, I was getting my medication for $149 a month. Now that it works, I signed up for the three month membership to get it for $99/month. So that cost $297.

Now they are charging me $297 every three months plus the medication fee of $149. So the cost of medication has variably now gone up excessively.

The customer service has been totally useless and telling me the membership is different than the medication. So both charges are legit. It isn’t presented that way at all. I only want the medication. Nothing else. It was presented as the medication being reduced.

Edit: sounds like I’m the problem here and misunderstanding. It’s just odd that I used it for months without having the additional fee and I feel it was presented as reducing the medication cost. But apparently it was clear to most other people so I’ll take it as me not understanding

I was charged for the medication but I was trying to cancel it the whole morning because i had put the address I am moving out from. I tried to reach out to prevent the order for being shipped but they did not respond to the chat thread.

Hi Everyone, I was just looking for some advice and insight on GLP-1’s and the nausea.

I just finished my first week on the second dose for the oral pill of Wegovy and it’s been hell. I’m nauseous mostly at night and I’m the mornings, but it can last way longer. Almost all food is disgusting to me and I can barely stomach anything without feeling the need to vomit. And I just hear my stomach churning. I was in bed for the past two days cause it got so bad. Is this normal? Should I stop the pill?

Hi all! New to this sub but I’ve been using a GLP-1 for about 3 months now.

I was wondering if anyone else has had major problems with receiving their orders? I live in an apartment building and for some reason, the delivery drivers never even attempt to deliver the packages. After dealing with it for a few months, I finally caved and made my pickup point at my local CVS.

My last 2 shipments for Wegovy were returned to sender and stating it’s due to inclement weather. There’s no bad weather near me. And now Ro is saying “they’re determining if they’re able to send another shipment or not”.

At this point, should I just cancel my membership and dispute the charge? Ro and UPS can’t get it right and I’m the only one being financially screwed.

I’m getting nervous about unwanted hair loss. I’ve been getting a ton of ads for these serums and I’m overwhelmed by all of the options. I don’t want to take Minoxidil.

Anyone have success stories? Supplements or hair oils or shampoos you’d swear by?

My company pays the initial fee for Ro, to at least get the ball rolling. But let’s say I can move forward with Ro. It would be a monthly subscription to the Ro service AND however much Zepbound would cost per month, correct?
How much would that be?

On my fourth month of Wegovy oral, and just graduated from 9mg/day to 25mg/day four days ago.

And wowee...these side effects! I don't normally experience side effects from medications, but this is wacky. What started as a "sunburn" feeling on my forearms and the top of my feet has progressed to this weird burn/tingle on the surface of my skin, now over my entire body. It's a difficult feeling to describe, but I'd liken it to pins & needles (but only on the very surface of my skin), combined with a burning sensation, leading into a chill that leaves my skin in goosebumps.

I'm hoping it's temporary, but if it continues into the weekend, I'll talk to Ro about going back to 9mg.

Anyone else get this odd sensation?

My insurance approved the pre authorization for wegovy and Ro said they sent the Rx to cvs a few days ago, they never got it. I messaged them to resend it which they said they did and CVS yet again doesn’t have the prescription. I have told them multiple times but they don’t seem to fix the problem?

What time do you guys take it??? I’m on the .8 right now and also on vyvanse as well. I have BED and usually binge after dinner. I just want to keep eating. Trying to find the best time to take the pill. Currently taking around 5pm and the binges have gotten better, but still overeating after dinner.

One of the unexpected things people sometimes bring up on a GLP-1 is feeling a bit colder than normal.

Feeling cold isn’t generally listed as a common side effect of GLP-1s- but some people do report it. In many cases, it may have less to do with the medication directly and more to do with the changes that can happen while taking it.

A few possible reasons you might feel colder:

You’re eating less
GLP-1s can reduce appetite and help you feel full sooner. If you’re eating much less than usual, your body may produce less heat from digestion and metabolism.

Your body is adjusting to weight loss
When you lose weight, your metabolism can adapt. One normal response to eating less and losing weight is that your body may conserve more energy, which can make you feel colder.

You may have less body fat insulating you
Body fat helps insulate the body. As body composition changes, some people notice they feel colder than they used to.

Your blood pressure may be lower
Weight loss and GLP-1 treatment can be associated with lower blood pressure for some people. Lower blood pressure may also contribute to feeling chilly.

Some things that may help:

• Eat regular, balanced meals
• Avoid extreme calorie restriction
• Prioritize protein
• Stay hydrated
• Move your body when you can
• Use layers, warm drinks, socks, blankets, and warm drinks
• Mention it to your provider if it’s persistent, severe, or comes with other symptoms

Has anyone noticed they feel colder since starting a GLP-1?

Hi everyone! I'm 31 years old are roughly 156-160lbs. As I've gotten older, it's been really hard for me to lose the weight on my own. I also have PCOS, so I have a ton on inflammation. I'm a bigggg late night snack person, and it's been so hard to tell myself "no" to these cravings. I want to get to around 130lbs. How long did it take you to notice? Will it take a while for me to reach my goal, since I don't necessarily have a lot to lose? Thank you so much!!! I'm excited but also nervous that it won't work for me.
