I had a dungeon with a bunch of it hidden from my players. It was working fine about a week ago, but I just went in to check on it before my session tomorrow and it looks like the mask is completely gone, and I can't seem to figure out how to get it back. The hide/reveal tool doesn't seem to gove any kind of feedback when I use it. Do you need to hit a button after selecting your area now?

Does roll20 offer early access for pre-ordered books?

Greetings. I've been playing for 14 months with my friends and this campaign is going to last for much more. Our rogue rolls an attack 3 times due to the lack of functionality in roll20 for Elven Accuracy. Yes, it's an old feature that we use for 2024, but for the sake of clean-up and better roll readability, I want to ensure the triple roll in a single message.

I am GMing Daggerheart one shots via Roll20. I have purchased Daggerheart corebook in Roll20 as it was integrated with Demiplane. I've been using macros and different tools to play and filling the gaps like copy-pasting features from character sheets to chat.

I'd like to know what are your experience (bad and good) and how you had been solving any issues.

Are there plans to allow using SVG files for creating cards rather than standard image files? It says the file type is not supported which is unfortunate because I'd like to conserve space and would have to batch convert all of these to raster image files. Is there a Roll20 plugin that allows SVG files in decks? Anyways, thank you in advance!

I've been playing an Way of the Astral Self monk with a 2024 character sheet and it's been rolling one dice lower (Damage should be 1d8 and it rolls 1d8) from the beginning. That's how it's preset. I can edit the damage dice, but the change doesn't save and it always reverts. It does the same if my DM changes it too.

I have a lot of art to show to my players during our livestream but when I move the party from one background to another, the art zooms in considerably, not where I left it on my screen.

Which has essentially cut off all the art on the recording. How can I ensure that when I show art to my players they see it at a zoom that I set for all background images?

How do I get out of this? It's through the character sheet under "Build World & Campaign" Elements. I just want to get back to my character's sheet. It won't let me go back or anything. D&D 5.5e.

[SOLVED] R20 changed, the pics imported in the token layer will change shape to become a square. I have now to import my pictures on the map layer instead so they keep their original shape.

I haven't used R20 in a while and I see there've been tons of updates, now everytime I add a pic/token on my map it comes out at square and squished, I have to resize them.

The grid is turned off, the original imported pictures have the correct rectangular shape, , and I looked into the settings but didn't find anything. What causes that and how to fix it ?

I have a normal & destroyed versions of a map, and I want to make an effect where the map "flickers" between both realities.

I was thinking maybe this could be achieved by writing some sort of macro?

If someone knows how, I'd really appreciate some pointers!

I've been running a SW5e (Star Wars 5th Edition) campaign for about a year now on Roll20, and a question I keep getting from my players is why there isn't a compendium that they can use just to drag and drop stuff into their character sheets. Was there a compendium in works at some point? And if so, why is it not released?

I'm a player on foundry but I dm on roll20. My DM started using flickering lights in foundry and I LOVE them.

Is it possible on roll20? I've seen some that allow players to carry flickering torches but I'd love to have my candles and fires and stuff flicker!

I'm digging deeper into how character sheets and tokens work (using 2024 D&D sheets). I have a player using a custom subclass with a resource called Wrath. He already has a feature in the character sheet with the resource and he just has to look at the character sheet to see his current Wrath and to modify it as needed, but is there a way I can create an Attribute for Wrath that can show as a token bar AND modify the resource when he changes it on the token?

This would be super awesome. I feel like its probably possible I just don't know how to call the resource onto the attribute.

I have a Plus subscription if it matters. I feel like this is somehow possible without API access just using the Attributes but idk

So I recently picked up the Dungeon of the Mad Mage module for my party and have just run the first session. Went pretty well.

I want to roll my monster and traps and such so that the rolls are out in the open, I don't want to be hiding and fudging things. Is there a way to automatically set it so that all the macros for the pre-placed tokens are set to be public and not whispered?

I know how to adjust the setting manually per token, but I'd prefer to save myself all the tedium of doing it to 20-30 tokens a level if possible.

My dwarf fighter is struggling in the 2024 version. He has looted and equipped a Greatsword +1 and has the Great Weapon Fighting fighting style. I am having two issues. I am getting the +1 to hit from the magical Greatsword but not the +1 to damage. I also am not getting the automatic setting of 1s and 2s on the damage dice to 3 from the fighting style. It appears the new version of Roll20 doesn't allow scripts because the "fixes" I found that worked in the old version do not seem to work now. Does anybody know how to fix this? I had to add a 1 damage modifier in the Dmg 2 box to get the +1 damage, but I shouldn't have to do that.

Me and my players are trying to use roll20 to play LMoP but we also need all the core books to get started. I am running the game and first time using the site. My question is if I put the books needed into my wishlist, is it as simple as the group buying the books and they will all be added to my account? Seems confusing with the address lines and "purchase for player" buttons

I'm going to run my first Cyberpunk RED session tomorrow, and I only just realized that I can't make NPC rolls whispered to the GM.

Right now I'm basically dragging stuff using the sidebar menu from one folder to another, but it's getting really annoying to use now that the contents of some of these folders are getting quite big and the list is getting long.

Is there a better interface I can use for this?

Hi there, excuse the ignorance. I have a new game that I am trying to revert back to the old character sheets that roll 20 used before. However When I convert it and then start the game it archives all my work. Is there an easy way to change from dnd beyond character sheets to regular classic character sheets without archiving all the work you have done?

So for the last two weeks I've been the only one having this issue but when I go to open my character sheet in roll20 which has been made by importing one of my demiplane characters I doesn't even connect to demiplane just shows the roll20 loading dice and I have to make a new sheet just to get it to work anyone else having this issue and how do I fix it?

Using this option to hide some maps, I've noticed how slow it's become to move around on those maps; it takes forever, as does moving away from them. When I switch maps without adding this option, nothing happens.

I'm using Firefox.
