Noticed there’s a lot less guidances available online for SAP certs compared to Azure or AWS, so hoping this can be useful for other people in the future. For anyone that has cleared this exam (new format specifically) can you share your experience and some advice on what to look out for? What practice systems/topics to focus on? Any gotchas the exam. Anything that’ll help with preparing for the cert. Seems there’s a cutoff of 90% so doesn’t leave very much room for error lol.

I want to get an opinion from a PP and/or QM consultants.
Based on my observation, I’m seeing a lot more demand for a PP/QM consultant, rather than just solely a PP or QM Consultant.
Has it become part of the norm that a PP consultant must also consult in QM and vice versa?
Let me know what you guys think.

I applied to a company with SAP ABAP role and 5lpa salary but if get selected in this company I can only sit for 2x package as per placement rule of my college
I got to know HCL, IBM might come to campus but with same package offers…should I go for brand name or give the interview for this company too?
I’m genuinely very confused…is SAP ABAP a good field?
As a fresher it’s difficult to make decisions in which company to apply or not
For this role I’ll have to shift to Bangalore

Splitting SAP support: German payroll stays on SAP, everything else goes third party. Anyone done this?
Running ECC in Germany. Keeping payroll on SAP support through migration, moving the rest to third party now.
Questions:
Did SAP resist the split once they saw most of the landscape leaving?
Any repricing or bundling pushback on the piece that stayed?
Has anyone invoked the July 2026 EU decision (AT.40823) in this exact scenario, one module staying, rest leaving? Did account teams honor it?
Any friction or surprise terms to watch for?

I have been told that our SAP merging results in the SAP ID of the deleted record being lost. Is there a way to merge in SAP so that the merge is recognized in Salesforce as a merge and not a deletion? If so, what does this look like? I read something about a global ID, but I don't know much about it.
I'm a salesforce professional and just trying to understand our options. Thanks!

I'm an independent SAP consultant, mostly working on PI/PO to Integration Suite migrations, and I built my own tooling to speed up the process. For months I've been reaching out directly to people at companies I know need this, and mostly I get ignored.
The couple of replies I did get were from people at big consulting firms telling me that companies in this space only work with big firms, and that I should just apply for a full time role instead of trying to go independent.
I get why they'd say that, their income depends on that model being true. But I don't know if they're right or just protecting their own turf.
So genuinely asking anyone who's actually built an independent SAP practice, not someone who works for a firm and has an opinion about independents: how did you get past that wall? Was it references, a specific niche, a different way of reaching people, something else entirely? I'd rather learn from someone who's done it than keep guessing.

We've been trying to get some automated regression around SAP GUI and keep hitting the same wall, which isn't the tooling, it's that our test VMs are locked down and IT won't install anything that needs a driver or an agent service. security's position is reasonable and it isn't changing. So far everything we've evaluated wants to install something. One vendor's answer was to run it on a machine we control instead, which works right up until that machine stops being representative of what users actually have. The options seem to be getting a signed exception for one specific tool and living with the paperwork, running it off a separate box and accepting the drift, or using something that drives the machine from outside rather than installing into it. The vision based ones like Askui sit in that last group as far as i understand it, though i'd want to confirm exactly what gets installed locally before taking that to security.
We're a 4 person QA team somewhere the change request queue is measured in weeks, so whatever we pick has to survive that process once and then not need touching.
Has anyone got this signed off in a regulated environment without a 6 month fight

Hi everyone,
I’ve already completed the 15-minute HR screening for a Senior Backend Developer role at SAP (Java/Kotlin), and I now have a 1 hour 30 minute interview coming up.
For those who have recently gone through SAP’s interview process for a backend/software engineering role, what should I expect in a 90-minute interview after the HR screening?
Thank you.

Looking for technical stack options that integrate directly with an SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and Java architecture.
Currently working strictly on backend Java and core SAP modules, without prior exposure to frontend frameworks, cloud infrastructure, or AI integrations.
Which technical domains or tools complement an SAP Commerce architecture best? Specifically looking for suggestions on:
Frontend: Spartacus / Composable Storefront (Angular)
Integration & APIs: SAP BTP, Integration Suite (CPI), REST, GraphQL, or microservices
Cloud & Modern Tech: AWS/Azure integrations or practical AI implementations for commerce backend workflows

Been looking at some readiness assessment data ahead of the 2027 ECC end-of-maintenance deadline, and the split that's emerging is kind of interesting: orgs that bring governance/compliance into the migration decision early are showing way fewer gaps than orgs planning to "deal with GRC after we're on S/4."
Not trying to turn this into a pitch thread — just curious how many people here are actually thinking about GRC right now vs. treating it as a later problem once the technical migration is sorted.
If you're mid-migration (or about to be): is compliance/risk even part of the conversation yet at your org?

Has anyone here seen or used this Google product? https://cloud.google.com/solutions/cortex?hl=pt-BR
The idea is to ingest the raw SAP tables, and then use Google's prebuilt data products that sit on top of them, which create a new semantic layer with proper column names and comments.
I'm on a project where we're evaluating this, and I'd like to hear some opinions about it.
