Don’t be like this person, Sacramento
If I was parked at a gas station for hours blocking a pump, everyone would be pissed.
There are only so many EV chargers around. Be respectful of others.

I saw local celebrity Nakamura doing his thing.
Had a respect to him because I know this thread has been hard on him didn’t flash a photo. But I gotta say really proud to see him doing this thing and thought I’d share with y’all here.

I've been wanting to learn Russian for a minute. Can speak rudimentary Russian and can watch a bunch of videos but we all know the best way to learn a language is thru conversation. And too busy between work and stuff to take a class. Let alone to pay for a in person class. So yea. Let me know.

can I borrow it for Saturday? I promise it will return home unmolested. I want to take it to SacAnime and fill it with either tiny army men or just popcorn.

Good afternoon y'all,
I bought some parts for my vehicle a couple months back when I was promised access to a workspace, but alas my circumstances have changed and I now need to find a mechanic to complete the job.
Been having issues finding a mechanic in town who deals with user-supplied parts, which I do understand the reasoning behind, so no hard feelings there.
Was curious if anyone had any suggestions?

Does anyone remember the name of a place in south sac (I think?) in the 90s that had basketball courts with hoops you could lower so kids could dunk? We used to have birthday parties there. I remember there being arcade games too.
I want to say it had a basketball-related name like Slam Town or something along those lines. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks!

Hi my mom recently passed and I wanted to see a medium to see if I can get in touch with her. It is very hard to pick one because I feel there are many that will scam you. Is there anyone that had a good experience with a medium where they didnt ask you for information and had just known things without you giving them information? I really appreciate any help!

Hi!
Just found out I am expecting and I’m new to Sutter, switching from Kaiser where I had my last two. Easy peach experiences, had a regular OB, monthly appointments with her and delivery with doctor attending. I understand the process, knew where to go for delivery because it was at a different hospital than where my appointments were and both were positive experiences!
I’ve been told that Sutter is not like this, rotating staff mainly and ob and appointment location might not always be consistent. Other than that, I don’t know the process. Anyone have insight from a previous delivery? Where did you deliver? How was the overall process from first appointment to delivery? Any tips?
I’m a planner so trying to understand as much as I can while I wait until I have a chance to call Sutter!

Hey! We're moving back to Sacramento after 5 years out east and have three very sweet cats. When looking at where to go for a vet we saw River City Cats and that it's really close by to where we'd be living but saw that you need a referral
Would anyone be willing to help us as a referral or know of alternative vet recommendations to consider?

A man was killed after he was struck by a train in Sacramento County on Monday evening, according to officials.
Sacramento Metro Fire said crews responded arrived at the railroad crossing on Calvine Road near Tillotson Parkway around 8:42 p.m. for reports of a train hitting a pedestrian.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Metro Fire said the train involved was from Union Pacific.
The crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

There was a discussion last week regarding the merger of safe credit Union and BECU. While some of the pros would give us cheaper rates and a larger credit union network, the 15 million in executive payouts doesn't sit well with me.
I'll be voting No on the merger and thought I'd share the link for any of our community members who want to keep safe credit Union a bank for the people.
