Question How can this discoloration around my mouth be treated to match the rest of my face?

Without sounding dramatic, it's ruined the best years of my life and held me back in soo many ways.

What do I need to do for the the darked skin on both corners to lighten and match the colour of the rest of my skin?

Laser, resurfacing, peels, typicals?

I also want to add that the lighting conditions in the picture makes the discoloration look less darker than it is. In real life its very dark and noticeable.

Discussion Skin & Me puzzling prescription?

I thought I'd give Skin & Me a try and input all the info about what I'm currently on that's prescription (tret 0.025 and Finacea 15 mainly). They prescribed me tret 0.023 (seems super odd as a figure in the first place), 0.04% azelaic acid, and 0.04% niacinamide. I wrote them right away to tell them that doesn't make much sense as a prescription since the tret is actually *lower* than my current one and my motivation is to go *up* toward 0.05, that the azelaic acid makes no sense since I've already been on 15% for several months, and that niacinamide is already in half my cosmetics at a higher percentage. I would imagine they will adjust it, but I'm curious if anyone else has had a prescription this *puzzling* happen with them? I'm not really sure why anyone would even *want* this particular weird combination.
