General Question Unlimited plus premium.
How many of you have switched to unlimited plus premium? If you have, what was your reasoning for it?
Also in your opinion, who is the plan meant for?

I went to the spectrum store to get a new device on a new line, I had 8k worth of credit line and had a trade in device as well. At the checkout the screen showed not eligible for in store purchases? And the rep told me to get it delivered via post on our address which I did and the phone got cancelled as cancelled due to credit risk concerns.
What the hell! I have a credit score of 750+

Hello, so I switched from cricket Wireless to Spectrum Mobile? If you had cricket Wireless previously, what differences do you know in the network versus when you had cricket? For one thing, when I went to Mexico last year. I liked the coverage in Mexico a lot better. With Spectrum Mobile. Because they use telcel. And it is better than cricket. Because they do not utilize AT&T Mexico. As far as I know. And I was able to get better service in small towns in particular.
I also like how Spectrum does not charge you an extra $25 upgrade fee to buy a device. Of course you can always buy it unlocked. But it is nice that Spectrum does not do this.

17 pro max 2tb claim denied twice because spectrum only sells the 256gb and 512gb. They did sell the 1tb before. The assurant drop down menu only has 256,512, 1 tb.
False advertising of a warranty plan…..

So I want to swap my dad’s line to the phone I paid off. It was showing up on the MySpectrum app, but now I just see the “eligible for trade-in” message.
Is there a certain timeframe you have to do this?

I got a new job and they had me making a lot of calls with my personal phone (on Spectrum mobile). Before they were able to get me set up with a Google Voice number, my personal number got listed as potential spam.
I've stopped making work calls from my personal cell. Is there any way to get rid of the potential spam tag? Most of what I've seen is for business numbers.

Hello, what can you theoretically do with 20 GB with the international data roaming versus the 10 GB that were on unlimited plus previously?
I am of course talking about Spectrum Mobile‘s new unlimited plus premium plan, that I switched to when it launched.

Be careful, there is a scam going around where someone is trying to say that they are spectrum and the new phone you ordered was actually refurbished and they need you to send it back. They called me four times today, I got to the point on the last call that I knew it was a scam and to leave me alone. They didn't get the hint and kept calling, I turned it around on them and started calling the number back repeatedly and hanging up once someone answered. On the last call back to them the guy told me to go fuck myself and blocked my number.

Looking for advice from anyone who's been through something similar.
A $25/month "Unlimited Plus" upgrade offer appeared directly on my account dashboard for all 5 of my lines. Before clicking anything, I called Spectrum to confirm it was legitimate and safe to apply. The rep didn't recognize the offer either, checked with a supervisor, and was told that if it was showing up on my account, it must be valid, so I went ahead and applied it to all 5 lines.
The next bill came in at $35/line instead of $25, a $50/month difference across the lines. When I called to dispute it, I was told the $25 rate was actually a business-account promotion that shouldn't have been available to me at all, and that they'd submit a ticket to look into a credit. Weeks later, I followed up in chat and was told the ticket had been declined, the charges were "valid," and that the promo was never meant for my (residential) account, despite it being displayed directly in my dashboard and pre-confirmed as legitimate by a rep and supervisor before I ever clicked it.
So to be clear: I was shown an offer, verified it in advance, was told it was fine, applied it, and am now being told it never applied to me and I owe the difference, with no credit and no real explanation of why a residential account was shown a business promo in the first place.
Has anyone successfully escalated something like this? A few things I'm trying to figure out:
Appreciate any pointers. Trying to avoid this becoming a recurring monthly overcharge.

I pay for the unlimited plus with anytime upgrade. I have an iPhone Air with some cracks in the front screen, nothing deep and there is no glass missing. Can I still do the anytime upgrade or will they not let me? Everything on the phone works perfectly and it is fully functional

I originally called to cancel my internet service but while talking to customer service I was advised I could get the same service I was offered by another carrier if I stayed with them and I could get an additional line for 1 year free. She said I had to get one of their phones to get the deal. I asked why couldn't I just use one of my old phones I have in my junk drawer (We all have them I bet). She said it wouldn't work on their towers. Well when the phone arrived and i opened the package the sim card was on top. So I thought to myself lets just see if it would work and lo and behold it did. Phone service, access to the internet, Youtube and YoutubeTV worked perfectly even text messages. When I called and told them about it they said I couldn't keep using my old phone and had to use one of theirs (which required my to BUY a new phone), I don't think so.
I'm returning this phone and sim card back to them today. I'll see what they have to say about that.

It’s a swap from the S23 Ultra to the iPhone 16 Pro. Just wanna make sure I do this right.
Do I just have to swap the devices via the app and then download the eSIM onto the new phone?

I’m swapping from my iPhone to a “dumb phone” as I’ve realized I’m addicted to it and it’s taking away from my family and work productivity. I have spectrum mobile and I’m looking to see if anyone has any ideas on what phones work with their plans. I see they offer the TCL flip 3, but have heard on and off reviews. I wanted to get the sunbeam f1 pro maple however I also see mixed things about spectrum not supporting them. Any tips or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Sent my old phone in to Assurant using the UPS QR code.
It shows delivered as of Friday. But when checking the status online it still shows as “awaiting shipment”
Is this normal? How long can I expect it will take to process my trade in?

So they have a deal now for $0 a month for the phone I have now an iPhone 16se and I’m eligible for them to pay this phone off and upgrade. I’m paying 22 a month for my current SE. if I upgrade do I essentially get a new 16se and my payments lowered to $0 or will this raise a flag in their system? I went all the way to check out, but didn’t know how to phrase the question and didn’t want to out myself if it was a loop hole or something. Thanks for any help!
