LFG!!!

Absolutely phenomenal show. Brandon and his band brought it tonight. As far as I’m concerned it was about as perfect of a setlist as I could have hoped. And a lot of great stories and anecdotes throughout. Anyone seeing a show on this tour is in for a treat!

The show didn’t start till 9:01 and the booing was getting very loud. The venue said to be there at 8 yet the show didn’t start till 9:01. Does anyone have some insight knowledge for why the show started so late?

I love my boy.

I really enjoyed my time with thrasher. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. I was definitely here for some Americana country.

If I could pick I would love for the next solo record to be more in line with pressure machine and imploding the mirage, heartland Rock.

And then I would like the next Killers album to be distinctly indie rock with New Wave inner woven.

Looking closely at the bus, I think a lot of the details connect to songs on Thrasher:

One of Us - the Angel in the back seems to represent Brandon’s late brother-in-law. The sign says “Someplace Bluebirds Sing,” and the “Live Like Mike” sticker also looks like a tribute to him.

Miss America - the woman wearing the Miss America sash represents Brandon’s sister, who inspired the song.

Paradise - the driver is dressed like a Vegas valet, so he could represent Brandon’s cousin Bobby, who the story is based on.

Tiger’s Blood - the “Cowboy Up” sticker is a direct reference, and the cigar connects to the “Swisher Sweet dreams” lyric.

Angel / The Red Ground - the flowers in the hat
could reference the lavender and greasewood flowers mentioned in those songs.

An American Dream - the cowboy hat references the “Stetson” lyric, while the chrome and road imagery fit the song’s “take me back home” theme.

So the whole picture seems to combine Brandon’s family, Vegas, Utah and lyrics from different songs into one Thrasher bus. It’s little details like these that make an album so much more memorable :)

I seriously think ITCO might be my favourite song of all time. I’m lucky enough to have seen it live once at the Emirates Stadium in 2022, but boy I’d kill for Brandon to play it at RAH in October. Brandon, if you’re reading please play it in London again!!

going to PHX tonight and heard that there might be one show with an opener on the U.S. tour but otherwise none on this leg. tbd about UK.

I broke my foot and can no longer go to the Portland show at the Roseland 😭. I have 1 front row reserved balcony ticket available. I paid $88. It’s an actual printed ticket so I would need to meet up somewhere in the Portland metro area to hand off. DM me if interested!

I’m seriously considering travelling all the way from Peru to London to see Brandon Flowers at the Royal Albert Hall… the only tiny problem is that I currently have neither a ticket nor flights 😂

I’m still hoping I might somehow find an Arena Standing ticket, but I’m also worried about ending up too far back. I’m only 1.60 m tall, so my greatest fear is travelling thousands of miles just to spend the whole concert watching Brandon through someone else’s phone screen or staring at the back of a very tall British man’s head 😭😂

For anyone familiar with the RAH: is the view from the back of the standing area still decent? Would arriving very early realistically help me get near the front? And do you think more tickets might become available closer to the show?

At this point, going feels slightly crazy… but missing the chance to see Brandon at such an iconic venue might haunt me even more. Please encourage—or responsibly discourage—this potentially terrible financial decision 😂

I use to listen to this version all the time where when he’d sing “I’ve got a soul but I’m not a soldier” but instead of singing the last part he’d talk sing it? “But I’m not a soldier” was the talking part, does anyone know what I’m talking about? I cannot find this version for the life of me I’d be so grateful if someone could help me find this one.

I was thrilled he ended his first show with this track, as it's my favorite one on Thrasher.

I had to cut the video down so the file size would fit on Reddit. The full song was 10 mins (he introduced the band after the video cuts off, then came back to repeat the chorus).

Excited for others to enjoy this tour - it was one of my favorite shows in recent memory!

for the stat nerds like me it currently contains 311 interviews from 2002 to 2024 (270 tk, 23 brandon, 3 dave, 11 ronnie, 4 mark), 2 tk crew interviews, 13 articles, 14 fashion photoshoots. other than english i also found interviews/articles in french, japanese, russian, swedish, spanish, german, italian, greek, dutch, indonesian, portuguese, danish, and polish. 31 are translated and 38 i hope will be one day (the japanese ones will be, my friend needs some time to work on the remaining ones). circa a third is my own material and if you pay attention you will notice some scans have a different watermark than my own blog name bc they actually belong to a friend of mine i'm cooking something juicy soon 😉 enjoy!

I haven’t seen any mention of an opening act and the setlists on setlists.fm don’t include set times. How many times am I going to say set?

I am going to the Brooklyn concert. Wondering how far in advance to line up to get rail. I cannot tell, but is there an opener?

As someone who never really liked this song, I was amazed to hear how good it sounds in a completely different genre with more lively instrumentation. Genuinely think it sounds great here and hope it somehow ends up on the deluxe edition.
