I started believing this because when it started to see it online i did everything i could to make it go away, i was not interested in the early discourse around it and i pressed ‘not interested’ on both tiktok and reddit to fix my algo but was still being shown it enough to have watched in real time the support for her build, i don’t know if it’s just me because i’m a woman and my apps know this, but I believe that both the overzealous support for her and the criticism of the support are being astroturfed and manufactured to fuel Americans into fighting over more culture war slop and to further convince men who already think that women are bloodthirsty baby killing monsters to influence policy to be more restrictive around reproductive health and the rights that women have to their children. I mean why are any of these psychos even talking about abortion? It’s suspicious to me that there is suddenly a vocal majority of men that really care about familicide out of a reflexive reaction to this case. I’ve seen really weird things happen with my algorithm when i’ve been in a vulnerable place and i try not to tinfoil about it but i can’t help but think something much more sinister is going on here. I wonder how many of these people that argue in comments about the current thing are just bots
