Pollution/Environmental Destruction Copșa mică, Sibiu county, Romania
Copșa Mică is small city in Romania near the Carpathian mountains, the city was founded in the socialist period, the main purpose was to house the workers of the nearby mines and metallurgical smelters. From 1990 to 2010 it was considered one of the most polluted places on earth. The mines were closed in 2009 so the city has started to recover, but the population has dropped from 7k to 5k. Its like the norilsk of Romania but instead of nichel its lead wich i think its worse.

Absurd Architecture Iskitim, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia
By the way, the building on the right is residential, and on the windows it says "Forward to equality!" Irony at its finest.
