Adelaide CEO issues statement amid explosive Matthew Nicks report
Our CEO did not shut it down. Very coy answer indeed.

Is this the most likely team selection for our Elim Final on Saturday? IN: Callum Ah Chee, OUT: Zac Taylor (injured). And do you think this is the best we can do with Peatling injured as well? If you could choose would you pick anyone else for anyone?

Nicks Situation
How do we feel about someone at the club potentially leaking the nicks news to Tom Morris on the eve of a final that already has pressure piled on it. For me, I feel a tad uneasy about it, despite my past comments re Nicks.
I canât recall a time at the club where weâve had news leaked like this before.

Petracca
If Petracca can come to the Crows for a second rounder would definitely take him. Zac bailey and Petracca would be such great additions to our team. Would make us serious contenders

Injury Report: Elimination Final
Adelaide will have heavy competition for selection heading into the 2026 finals with just three players on the Clubâs injury list.
Midfielder James Peatling continues to recover from hip and groin soreness but will miss this weekendâs clash with the Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval.
âJP is doing everything he can to return as soon as possible,â McKeown said.
âHe wonât be available for selection this weekend but continues to make progress in his recovery.â
Young utility Zac Taylor will also miss due to a hamstring strain sustained against GWS in the final week of the home-and-away season.
âZac has made excellent progress in his recovery,â McKeown said.
âWhile this weekend is still too early for a return, weâll continue to increase his training loads with a view to him hopefully playing again this season pending finals results.â

Bulldogs supporters saying theyâre relieved theyâre playing Adelaide at AO instead of Geelong in Melbourne
From the comments on their sub. What do we think? Iâd love to be confident and say we should be able to beat them easily but our record isnât the best in fInals. BUT if we put in a 4 qtr effort it should be a win fingers crossed.

Nicks out!?
Tom Morris in reporting on Agenda setters that Matthew Nicksâ job is on the line if they lose their final this weekend against the Dogs.
33-13 the last 2 seasons (albeit no finals wins). Would be a massive story.

âItâs not luckâ: Amid the chaos, Neil Balme might be Matthew Nicksâ greatest ally at Adelaide

Junior barcode
Would anyone happen to have a priority one barcode for a junior? I have two adults but it's a crazy price difference when I'm taking my 7 year old.
Would be open to swapping.

Access to elimination final pre-sale?
Hi everyone, I'm a Crows member and wanted to acquire tickets for myself and my partner to the elimination final against the Doggies but I'm the only member and therefore can only buy 1 ticket. So I was wondering if anyone had a membership barcode I could use to buy my partner a ticket?
This is only if you have no intention of going to any remaining games this year, want everyone involved to be comfortable/have no risk. I've checked my own membership and can confirm that the barcodes change every year so there should be no risk for next year if you don't intend to purchase any tickets for the rest of this year. Happy to DM :)

Assume Muzz's leaving, and a future first pick is weakened by Tassie... Would you?... Would North?

What's everyone's baseline for success this year?
How far into the finals would be enough?

Crows are in generational debt to the Bulldogs
First they knock off Melbourne paving the way for a top 6 finish then they take out possibly Crows biggest threat in the Wildcard Finals. We must thank the Bulldogs as they have helped us a lot.

Everyone say thanks to Tim Membry (Crows don't have to play Collingwood)

AFLW Tickets at the Gate
I may be attending the AFLW match at Unley tomorrow. Is it usually safe to wait and buy tickets at the gate?

Zac Bailey Trade as it Stands - "Most Interesting Free Agency Decision Ever"
- Bailey is still genuinely torn on picking Adelaide or Brisbane
- Adelaide have the better offer
- Bailey would ideally like to stay at Brisbane
- Brisbane have the capacity to match Adelaide's offer to force a trade but do not want to for potential salary cap reasons moving forward. They do not want just a compensation pick
- Adelaide do not want to make a trade for Zac Bailey
- If Brisbane match, Adelaide might back out of getting Zac Bailey, leaving Brisbane paying more for Zac Bailey than they want to, potentially jeopardising their salary cap
- If Brisbane does not match, they will receive a compensation pick (I think around late 1st, early 2nd?), that's it
So, three potential outcomes at this stage that I can see:
- Brisbane does not match, leading to Bailey being traded to Adelaide and Brisbane get a compensation pick, Adelaide give up nothing
- Brisbane match, then Adelaide back out of the deal leading to Brisbane keeping Bailey but at a value they are currently unwilling to pay for
- Bailey stays at Brisbane with their current offer which is currently at a significantly lower value than what Adelaide are offering
Sources suggest Adelaide is offering $10m for 7 years. About $1.4m a year. It is believed Brisbane are offering about $300k-$400k less per season.
Did I get this right? Thoughts on the Crows offer? What are we hoping to happen?
