Hey, since the incoming Texas freshmen would have experienced the phone bans in Texas schools last year, how was it? As someone who wasn’t in high school during the phone ban usage, I was wondering what your experiences were like. What is it like going to university now and not having your phone banned?

I wanted to see if anyone had any information on ticket pulling regarding alumni. I recently graduated early last month in August and wanted to try and pull tickets this year is possible. If anyone has any information they’d recommend. Please let me know!

I'm a sophomore in AGLS who really truly tries to seem like i have it all together. neat notes, early to class, known by professors, etc. but i'm so painfully lonely that i feel heavy every day. i have a couple good friends, but over the summer i started struggling with severe bulimia that made me incredibly antisocial and also underweight to a pretty severe degree (no energy, near passing out, yesterday I had to go to beutel because i was throwing up water and my legs were pins and needles trying to walk to the bus stop.)

I know all of this is entirely my fault and i should be able to pull myself together, but having been struggling with different iterations of the same thing since i was about thirteen, it's beginning to feel like i'll never escape. All i want is to have a joyful college experience, but when i am constantly on the edge of collapse i fear it's not possible.

Does anyone know of any resources, tips and tricks or simply words of advice to help a fellow aggie out? yes, I have a therapist, but at the end of the day i still feel so helpless to choose this for myself.

I have Ali Kaya for 207, and I’m not sure if it’s the way he explains things or what, but I was lost the moment I left the first lecture. What are some good resources for better understanding what is happening lol?

For context, I'm a senior in high school looking to apply to a&m for mechanical engineering but I'm afraid of how much tuition will cost. I have a 4.5 gpa and not sure if that qualifies me for any scholarships and I want to have a general idea of how much tuition overall will cost

I started a minor this year and I need Physics 202 for some classes in my major. I just wanna see what you guys think I should do.

All this together is going to be like 17-18 credit hours, but I need like 3 more to get my Aggie ring next fall. Should I take another class here at TAMU? It would be an easy class for KUCD but would still total to like 20-21 credit hours.

I’m currently a freshman and I plan to go to the first game this weekend, I’ve never been to any sports events here at A&M and i dont really know a lot of people that are planning to go either. I mainly just want to know how gamedays work and what i should know/plan for beforehand. And I am interested in tailgating but i’m not too sure how it works, and if you have to pay or be in certain orgs to participate. Also I do live off campus so I wanted to know what’s the best way to go about transportation!? Thanks :)

Howdy guys! I'm 23F got to Cstat for uni but i am originally from somewhere else but decided i wanted to change school and major so here i am yada yada..
ANYWAYS since i'm new i dont know much, where are the good spots at 🤠 it could be anything, food, coffee, study spots(other than campus), nightlife, shopping, parks, etc it can be ANYTHING.
I wasn't able to explore much because of my course overload and it's so hot outside. I need to know spots so i can take my friends out when they visit🫡

Howdy! I am a BIMS major but I’m planning on getting a History Minor next semester! Since I already have some courses done thru AP credit I only need 2 more 300/400 level HIST courses. Any recs?
