I’ve had/have suicidal thoughts as well. Sometimes they’re more passive, sometimes I joke about it, and a few times over the past few months I’ve thought more seriously about it. I’m not sure what to do with these thoughts anymore. Although recently, when I’m feeling bad, I’ve been getting more of a tingling feeling about really just wanting to slit my throat or strangle myself etc.

Or like rhinking of scenarios like getting cancer where i would probally refuse treatment

It stands for TEMPORARY protected status, yet people get so offended when we revoke it. In some cases, these statuses were given decades ago and renewed continuously as if it were permanent.

The problem is not with the people enforcing the temporary part of TPS, it's with the politicians who essentially allowed people to live in our country for far longer than they should have.

June is designated as Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month in the United States.

It's in June so it get smothered but ever so it's an afterthought. Men are looked down on in todays society here especially in the United States. It gets a fraction of the attention of other causes. Men struggle from a variety of issues. This is a really bad time to be a man.

Basically, my entire Instagram feed is full of obese or weird Black people eating fluorescent pink or blue pineapple pieces as if they were eating the best caviar in the world, usually in front of cars or stores. Then they eat disgusting pastel-blue or yellow chicken covered in sweet sprinkles, and hamburgers made with fluorescent-red sweets that look like doughnuts or cinnamon rolls with sauces that remember coloured toothpaste. Obviously, nobody in the comments explains what they're doing; they just attack them with racial slurs. Do you have any idea why they eat this food? Is it a trend among African Americans? Is it a social-media trend or a challenge? I don't understand.

Why on EARTH do we not use the USCIS civics test as the bar to obtain voting “rights”? Listen I’m all for democracy. But I PULL MY HAIR OUT at the thought of someone voting and not even having a high school level understanding of government.

Democracy has never been defined as “let every single rock licking person vote willy nilly”. This isn’t about IQ or who is smart and who isn’t. This is about the educated vs uneducated making the decisions for our country and the general population. There is nothing discriminating about it.

My idea is simple. Every person has to take a high school level civics exam, everyone takes the same test. This test needs to be taken before every election cycle before receiving eligibility to vote for that cycle. This allows people who didn’t know and now know to vote, and prevents people who used to know but now don’t from voting.

We already require this test for one thing, what logic stands behind not requiring it for an arguable more important thing?
