Dev/Admin Responded [iOS] Unable to post a certain image

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Every time I try to post a new image on a subreddit or just on my account in general, it keeps saying the image is ‘deleted’ even if it’s not. Other, older images work, but not this for some reason. Please help!

Desktop Web [desktop web] All posts deleted by spam filter across subreddits

Every post I submit gets instantly filtered out everywhere. Reddit's appeal page says my account is in good standing, and support forms loop back to the same page. Is there any way to reset a false positive on the automated spam filter?

Desktop Web [Desktop Web] Back Button Hijacking on Firefox - GUI and browser back buttons don't work and haven't for days

Upvotes

Probably because of a recent release both the GUI and FF browser back buttons are, once again, doing nothing but reverting the URL to the previous one while leaving the content trapped in it's current state. I can only imagine that Reddit's use of history.pushState to update the URL and dynamically load new content is conflicting with either FF or uBlock Origin's protection against history spamming.

My experience is that lately pressing either back button is a waste of time unless I press it a dozen times after which I get kicked to some seemingly random past content, and then have to find my way back to where I was.

It's annoying s hell. Is anyone else experiencing this, and does anyone know if it's being worked on by either Reddit or the browsers or the adBlockers/content filters?

Dev/Admin Responded [desktop web chrome] Unable to ban the user again as a mod

Hello!

I have banned a user for 3 days previously, to which they responded to the ban in modmail with harassment and a threat so I unbanned them so I could perma ban them. I was able to unban them without an issue, but I (and other mods) are not able to ban them again at all as the Reddit returns us the message "something went wrong". We keep trying for two days already and it is not working. Several mods have tried to ban this user from various platforms and Reddit versions and still nothing.

If an admin is checking this (as I think I'm not allowed to say the user's username directly in the post), you can find the user in our r/eurovision inbox as the only message in there currently.

Thank you 😄

iOS [iOS] Liquid Glass design missing native iOS rounded menus and light glow effect - version 2025.XX.XXX

Thumbnail gallery
Upvotes

The Liquid Glass design on Reddit looks great overall, but it’s still missing a touch of the native iOS feel.
I would love to see more rounded menus that follow the screen edges, along with a subtle light glow effect when I place my finger on them — just like the native iOS interactions.
Please consider adding these small details to make the experience feel more polished and consistent with iOS.
Thank you!

iOS [ios] i cant delete my acc

Upvotes

Hi, I need to permanently delete my Reddit account. My account was created using my phone number and does not have a password. When I try to delete it, Reddit asks me to verify my phone number with a 6-digit SMS code, but the verification always gives me “Oops! Something went wrong.” I also tried from a computer, where I get “Server error. Try again later.” This has been happening for several days. I have access to the phone number. Please help me resolve the verification error so I can delete my account.
Please guys it’s kinda urgent…

iOS [iOS] Search function not working

Upvotes

I’ve seen a couple of these posts from Android users in the past few minutes so I just want to report that this is also a problem for me with iOS.

Reddit app is not producing results when I search, instead a “No internet connection” message. I’ll search for something and it’ll maybe work once or twice, but 9/10 times I’m not getting results.

Android Issue in Android : Whenever I search anything related to the word "Indian" or "India" they show no results found.

Upvotes

Title: Reddit search works anonymously but not when logged in

I’m having a strange issue with Reddit search.

When I’m logged into my account, normal searches like “Indian” or “India” work fine, but certain searches related to Indian communities/content return no results.

What’s strange is that the exact same searches work normally when I use Reddit through anonymous/logged-out browsing.

I’ve tried checking my settings and restarting the app, but the issue still happens.

Could this be an account-specific search restriction or a bug? Has anyone experienced something similar, and how did you fix it?

Dev/Admin Responded All Platforms (Chrome, Firefox, Android) - Saved Responses not commenting

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi;

Just encountered this within the last 2~ days.

In several subreddits that I am a moderator, the saved response reason is not being commented even though I make sure to tell it to notify via comment.

In one sub, about 10% of them are actually commenting the removal reason. In two of the subs, none of them are commenting.

I've had other mods in the team take a look, and they see the removal, they see that it says I added a removal reason, but the saved response is not commenting.

Some of the other mods have been able to remove posts/comments and the removal comment does show up, but they are also experiencing some of the comments not "sticking." It might show up briefly, but a refresh of the page, and it just shows our mod note that the post or comment was removed, but no saved response added to it.

In a similar vein, some of the removed comments are still prompting "approve" or "remove" even though they have been removed.

That is:
1. We select remove.
2. We hit add removal reason.
3. We select a reason, and hit submit.
4. The comment shows as removed, with our little mod note next to it.
5. A refresh of the post goes back to giving the option to approve or remove. If we repeat the whole process, it just repeats.

Please assist, this is greatly affecting our post/comments removals, because our saved responses have links and other info pre-saved to address the removals.

Desktop Web [Desktop web] Can't schedule post that has an inserted link and post body text

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The steps I did:

  1. Click the link button 🔗 and pasted article link into it
  2. Insert the little writeup into the post body text
  3. Clicked the clock button to schedule; selected date and time.
  4. Clicked schedule, but in red text it keeps saying "There was an error. Please try again later."

Took out the body text, and as you can see at the end, the post scheduled properly. But, I wanted the body text in it, so I just deleted the entire thing and manually posted it to the community this morning.

I originally had a similar issue like this in May: https://www.reddit.com/r/bugs/comments/1tw11cd/desktop_web_chrome_cant_schedule_posts/

iOS [iOS] - post goes back to the first comment when switching tabs

If i'm reading, lets say, the 27th comment and switch tabs to another app and come back to reddit, reddit brings me back to the very first comment. I lost track of where I was and have to parse through the whole thread to find the comment I was initially reading.

iOS [iOS] My upvotes stay highlighted but don’t seem to count - version 2026.33.0
