Stop posting pictures in your underwear. Pt 3

Should you be adding muscle? Or should you be cutting fat? It’s a question we all have come across on our fitness journey. It’s not always a simple one to answer.

Love handles, pooches, lack of definition, vascularity…everything plays a part.

You lost a lot of weight, or you added a lot of weight. They are all part of the process. Everyone here is going to do our best to help you with your journey.

That being said:

The community does not need to see an excessive amount of skin to give you advice.

If you’re wondering what your BF% is, it’s not hiding in the 3/4 of an inch away from your genitalia. Swimwear is included in this.

This goes for all genders.

There are a ton of fitness subreddits that can help you if you feel the need to get more specified advice.

If you feel /r/bulkorcut is not meeting those standards, please go visit them.

The serious part:

Do not post sexually suggestive posts. If you are not wearing gym attire your post will be flagged and removed.

If your profile has links to questionable subreddits you will be banned at the moderators discretion.

Talk of steroids, cycles, or anything related will be an immediate ban.

Lastly:

Any attempt to circumvent the rules or a ban is auto reported to Reddit admins. We tested it and it works very well.

Second lastly: This is a subreddit to help individuals attain their goals. Not a platform for anything else. Sexual, monetary, cruel, or any other posts or comments outside helping someone make the decisions of bulking or cutting will be removed and users banned.

Report any third party links in this subreddit. Especially macromatic.

We do a pretty good job of keeping this sub clean of spam and sexual content. You all know the rule we hard enforced over the underage and then the underwear situation.

MacroMatic is a spam data stealing app that is being spammed here. I hope you read the terms of service before you upload anything to them but if you don’t feel like it here they are:

1: Their 4th agreement states you will, by agree to by using their application, allow the application to access all of your personal data. And they will be able to use it how they please.

https://imgur.com/a/9vBcR6n

2: 5th agreement (see above image) makes it so anything you contribute to the community (I assume a forum) YOU PERSONALLY are liable for. So if you use peanut butter in your shakes and suggest it you’re the one getting sued.

3: Their 6th agreement: https://imgur.com/a/ln0Hooo

The worst one.

They are saying they can use your image for promotion, manipulate it, use it however they want AND MAKE MONEY OFF IT.

We have mods and mod tools here but we can’t do this all on our own.

Report this type of thing immediately If there are any external links report them.

The boring part:

We were approached by this company months ago and declined to sponsor them. And then to be compensated by them. We have banned 7 accounts so far and counting.

Don’t waste your time and your personal information. Stay the fuck away.

Hi all, I was told back in May to do a lean bulk in order to build muscle.

I'm doing 4 days gym (push, pull, legs, full body) and 3 days running.

I'm eating (based on an app I have where I track what I eat) 2600 calories per day + what I burn (what my garmin feeds me). Macros are 129g proteins, 322g carbs, 86g fat, however I always go more proteins and carbs, usually around 144g proteins and 400g carbs.

I'm discouraged because it looks like all I eat goes into the belly and not actually building muscles, also I'm aware I have an anterior pelvic tilt which I'm working on it.

My question is, do I continue with this lean bulk or should I cut the fat and then lean bulk?

Originally intended to cut over Summer but didn't really go to plan. I seem to fluctuate from thinking I'm scrawny to feeling fat... So would appreciate some outside guidance

For reference, I train 3-5 times a week and do PPL. Have been training more seriously for ~6 months, but prior to that had a history of being very on/off with my gym commitment

I’ve been living between 230-250lbs for about 3 years now. Pretty consistent in the gym, but I can’t figure the diet part out. I mean I get how to do it, but I keep fucken up after a week or so of trying to eat right.

Should I lock in and lean out or does this look aight. I’m not gonna lie, I’m not a fan of what my stomach looks like when I’m walking directly into the wind

Been eating at maintenance for a few months. On the fence about cutting again to really get shredded, or just start bulking hard now.

Looking for some advice here! My starting weight was ~194lb (88kg) and i've managed to lose about 9kg through running and some strength training (although tbh, haven't really been pushing myself as much as I should there).

Ideally my goal weight was 75kg (165lb) but that was a bit of an arbitrary number i made up.

Trying to work out where to go from here. My weight loss has been slow, so getting down to 75kg might take a while (I'm not in a rush though). Not looking to be huge, just more toned/fit physique.

Attached a before and after

Need advice!

Hey guys,
I’m 27 years old, 6’3", and currently weigh 212 lbs. I’ve been lifting since i was 21 but without following any diet and without consistency.

First off, I have pectus carinatum, which means my chest sticks out. I’ve had it since birth. I grew up in a developing country where braces weren't an option, and since they work best for teenagers, it’s a bit too late for me to go that route now.

Where I Need Advice:
Upper Chest: I view this as my biggest weakness. I train it a lot, but I'm not seeing results.

Back/Posture: Because of my chest condition, I feel like I have a bit of a hump. No matter how much I train my back, it never feels like enough to correct it.

General Progress: Will I start seeing big results now that I'm eating in a structured surplus? What else should I improve on? Should I bulk or cut? Im confused and I don’t understand.. I hope you can help me.

My Diet (Started Aug 1, 2026)
Meal 1: 1 whole egg & 3 egg whites, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 2 tbsp peanut butter

Meal 2: 8 tbsp (45g) quick oats & 2 whole eggs, 1 scoop whey, 1 medium banana, 1 tbsp honey

Meal 3: Chicken, fish, or burger with rice (~45g protein, 75g carbs), 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Meal 4: 2 tilapia fillets, 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 slices white bread

Meal 5 (Post-Workout): 16 oz whole milk, 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cup raw quick oats, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tsp creatine

Meal 6: 1.5 oz extra large Virginia peanuts

Totals: 3204 Calories | 224g Protein | 250g Carbs | 150g Fat

My gym routine:
