Pegging Scoring Question

This hasn't happened yet for me in a game, but easily could.

Suppose that after tossing two cards in the crib, I'm left with 10-A-A-A.

During pegging, my opponent throws a Q (10), I throw my 10 (20), he throws an 8 (28).

I put down my A, he says go.

Would I count each other Ace as its own play, and get a pair for 2 then a set for 6 and 2 for 31 for a grand total of 10?

Or would I simply lay down both Aces and get a set for 6 and 2 for 31 for a grand total of 8?

I'm leaning towards 10 but others I've asked have argued for 8.

Cribbage Stuff Crazy Cribbage Online

I completely rebuilt my Crazy Cribbage game. As the name says it is crazy, well it has some really crazy options that be enabled. Right now you can only play against the computer, hoping to get human to human added soon. I think my favorite is the speed mode, where you play to 31 and only count your pegging.

Have a look and let me know what you think

Opponent's crib.

Our points were around 50 and I was down about 4 points.

I ended up tossing the A-spades and 6-Clubs .

Consequently or not, my wife skunked me this game..

I’m green (It looks like I scored an impossibly massive final hand, I didn’t, I just like to move my guy past the end of the board when I win.)

Been playing at least 70 years and has had a lot of 28 hands but the big one has eluded her until now.

UPDATE*

Thank you everyone for the congratulations and comments, mom is tickled pink by the attention and can’t believe the response. Made her day!

I probably learned when I was around 7 years old. I’m now 37. So 30 years to get this hand! I started laughing at the cut card and my poor husband had no idea til we started playing. 🤗

Doesn't it work both ways?

So I just staryed playing with game with a friend and downloaded this game on my phone. On the table we were counting 9+A5 for 15 and A9+5 for 15...

Is this not how it works? The game on my phone doesn't seem to think so

Edit: sorry, gotta click the picture to see my hand

Last gasp, his crib and I pegged out with a backup of 10 and he didn’t get to count either of his hands (totalling 32).

Question*

Hi all,

I just discovered this amazing game. Here in The Netherlands it’s a niche. And imho its a shame.

I just bought this. Is there somebody who could tell me more about this set? Maybe an origin or estimate date?

Thank you so much!

Greeting!

So I started with the Ace, opponent played Q. I played Q for 2 points (pair) and then she played another queen. How much does that score? 2 points for 31 and then is it 3 points for the three of a kind or 6 points? Asked Gemini and it said 4 points for the third queen so I came here
