What is this week like for you guys? What is the process like? I'm so curious. Is it rapid fire right away? Or are you stuck on hold with Disney waiting? Is Pearl Day the hardest? General Public day? What is it like behind the travel agent curtain?

what would be a good amount of time on a disney cruise to experience EVERYTHINGG like to the point that i don't have to do it again due to missing out on something! the optimal trip duration more or less? im from england but I would happily pop over to europe as well for the disney cruise so where is a good destination as well? i don't card as much about destination as much as on cruise activities and shows so im happy with any suggestions!

We’re considering booking a 7-night on the Dream later this year. We sailed on the Fantasy in April of this year, and the food was abysmal. Like, barely edible.

So much so that when we sailed on the Fantasy again this year in July, we had resigned ourselves to a lot of food from deck 11 and room service meals. However, our MDR server told us on the first night that they had recently improved the food and were rolling out a new menu. In the end, we were pleasantly surprised by the revamped menu and improved food quality in the MDR.

Has anyone who’s sailed on the Dream this summer had a good experience with the MDR food or know if the Dream got the same treatment as the Fantasy recently?

I'm looking at the new westbound transatlantic and I am hoping that there are some rooms that people reserved but will not pay their deposit on: does anybody know what time of day those rooms go back into the (mickey) pool?

Basically, if you knew exactly which room to click the second booking opens, which one would it be and why?
Please give me the room number + category if possible! I’m especially interested in rooms that tend to go FAST because they’re considered hidden gems.

We are taking our first Disney cruise in October and doing Halloween on the High Seas on the Fantasy. We are all very excited and shopping for our pirate night costumes. Will we get to see Captain Hook on pirate night?

Is DCL transport worth it from FLL airport? In other words, do most users get on board in the 11:30-12:00, consistently? I believe you are generally assigned to boarding group 3. First hand accounts much appreciated! ☺️

I booked two placeholders on my last cruise so I can’t initially book my discount online. With my booking window opening Thursday and assuming a massive amount of calls going in for Silver members, do you think I would be able to call now, use my placeholder on a cruise, and then convert to one of the 2028 cruises on Thursday? We aren’t looking at one of the super desirable itineraries, but I do want to book as soon as possible. We’re also juggling first day of school so that limits my time on the phone too…

I can’t seem to find a straight answer to this anywhere online. On a four-night Wish sailing, is Pirate Night guaranteed to fall on your duplicate dining rotation? There’s no way Pirate night would overshadow your one shot at a dining room, right? Just making sure before we book a Palo reservation for our pirate night!

Looking at the November 2027 versus the March 2028 it’s pretty much the same agenda however it’s a different stop for Panama

What I read online is the weather is better in March versus November but what is the consensus here or anybody have any genuine thought about this?

I’m going on a cruise in January and I’m trying to get my magic band. Has anybody had trouble buying one? That’s one of the cruise exclusive as I want to customize it. My cruise is already paid and booked for.

this is my first time booking with a placeholder. i am getting ready to book a cruise for april 2028 on thursday morning and i was wondering if ill have to call to have them place it or will it automatically appear when i go to book my cruise? i dont mind paying the deposit and all that just to book it, but i want to make sure i dont lose out on my 10% and extra $150.

My family and I (4 adults, two children (5+7) are booking a Merrytime cruise in the Bahamas for 4 nights. The options for the dates we can travel are Wish and Dream and the price is almost identical.

I know there is a lot on this sub comparing those two ships, but I don't see anything specific to Merrytime. We sailed on the Destiny earlier this year and had the time of our lives. I'm pretty sure we can't go wrong, but I know people will have opinions so I'd love to hear them. Thank you! :)

Sailing soon on our first cruise. I’ve done a lot of research so I’m pretty comfortable with everything… except for room service. The breakfast specifically. I’m the only one in the family with food allergies (eggs, soy, peanuts, almonds) and my kids are super excited about “first breakfast”. Aside from the obvious coffee and fruit, are there options on the door hanger menu for food allergies?

All I can find on this issue is info for gluten-free options. If there aren’t options that I can write-in, it isn’t a huge deal. I’m just hoping someone has experience.

I’m HOPEFULLY planning a seven day western Caribbean on the Destiny soon. I say hopefully because right smack in the middle of it I am supposed to be giving an important ZOOM webinar. I am the guest lecturer, not the host, so it is not originating from me, but I still need good stable Wi-Fi at 8:30 at night while at sea.

I know the ship is brand new and it’s equipped with the latest Starlink technology, but does anyone have real world experience with the top-tier package on the Destiny? My previous experiences with DCL internet have all been on the lower paid tier and on other ships. It’s my only work commitment that whole week, but worrying about it is keeping me from even booking the trip.

Literally waited 1.5 hours on the phone to book my Disney cruise and wedding package and they were like we need to transfer you !? I was like what !!!! They said another 1.5 hour wait !!!! Now I’m hoping they can get me to someone sooner I shouldn’t have to wait another 1.5 hours. I’m so upset and already feeling like the cruise and wedding I want is gone. I literally called right when they opened . I am platinum I know there are a lot of us . It shouldn’t be this hard. Especially if we are booking a wedding. I’m so upset . Anyone else go through this ?

I don't know if I have ever seen a cruise sell out so fast. It looked like a cool cruise, but I guess I will have to wait for the next time around.

I’m doing a Very Merrytime cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale on December 5th.

I live in Spain, so I won’t have any US mobile data, and I’m looking into eSIM options. I’m thinking of getting one for my first few days in the US, and then another one that would work in the Bahamas — Nassau, Castaway Cay, and Lookout Cay.
Has anyone done a similar cruise and can recommend an eSIM (or a good combination of eSIMs) for the US and the Bahamas?

We (myself, wife, and 8/6 year old daughters) took our first Disney cruise this summer: a 5 night trip on the Fantasy that visited Lookout, Castaway, and Nassau. We had a great time, and are looking to book another one for next year, but we're having a tough time picking which ship to go with next.

We're looking at a pretty similar itinerary of Caribbean trip in summer of 2027, either 4 or 5 nights, and since the itinerary is very similar, we'd rather try out a different ship. (We loved the Fantasy and it was very much what we were looking for, but would rather introduce a little variety somewhere). Looking at options, it seems the ships in the Caribbean in summer 2027 are:

• Dream
• Destiny
• Treasure

I think the Treasure is out, since it seems like it's only doing 7 nights, which is probably too long for our kids. And comparing the Fantasy to the Destiny and Dream, it seems like 2 very different ships:

• the Dream sounds like it's a sister ship, with the same restaurants, design, etc
• the Destiny is a completely different ship, but more Marvel/Heroes and Villains theme. (Our kids don't know anything about Marvel, and are more in princess mode).

In other words, Dream seems too similar, but Destiny seems too different. Does anyone think I'm overstating how similar the Dream is? Or been on the Destiny with kids that aren't super into Marvel - did they feel bored by the theme, or is it really just classic Disney with a small splash of Marvel? Or think I'm missing something that would help us decide?
