My wife and I’s candy haul from Oogie Boogie Bash (8/30). We had to buy a locker halfway through the event cause we filled up to large bags we bought from the store. We had an amazing time and got over 1000+ pieces of candy. Brought back a lot of great trick or treating memories from when we were a kid. Going to donate a lot of this candy to our teacher friends and Halloween treat bags for coworkers & friends!

I went to My Chemical Romance last night in San Diego, and man, did I have an unbelievable, magical, soul-healing time. Woke up this morning sore and with no voice, with bruises all over me since I was in the pit, but still carried on with the drive to Anaheim to meet up with my folks for a 3-day vacation at the happiest place on earth. They are coming in late, so I decided to hit the parks since I am here now, and man the hug I got from Mickey just now was the first step to healing my post concert blues because they are really hitting me hard 😞

Thank you, Disneyland, for simply existing because of this purpose!

Sad seeing an era of Disneyland disappearing before our eyes, but it's the start of a new one.

I was at a convention this weekend and needed a Disney fix. So I booked Clarabelles Halloween Extravaganza dinner at Storytellers. I Loved every minute of it. We saw every character at least twice, we got to watch them dance, it was tons of fun. Expensive but fun. I have one complaint - dessert. Come on Disney you can do better. There was not one pumpkin flavored item and the ONE chocolate item was mediocre at best. Seriously, Striytellers has never been great for dessert but for a Holiday event they should step up their game.

Just kind of an interesting but mundane update!

I completely get why they’re being demolished. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t gonna miss them. They really added something to the Esplanade in my opinion.

Did Zero hoard all the femurs from Halloween Town, leaving Finkelstien with none to utilize for Sally?

Jokes aside, I have no ill intentions as I know the displays take months to make, and it is far better than anything I could make.

I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet but from what it looks like, the Sally figure of the display seems to be missing the upper half of her legs. I am guessing this very mild oddity was done in compromise rather than an oversight, akin to an episode of Cake Boss as if it wouldn't fit under a doorway, or something as simply as they wouldn't be looking at each other in the eyes if her full legs were present. Either way the cake is still really damn cool, I would say this feature is more intriguing than being a genuine thing to be upset about.

So I will admit that I am one of few who actually loved the Mac and cheese they had prior, and my kid is a Big Mac n cheese fan in general. I was slightly bummed to hear they were moving to Kraft, but not the end of the world.

We are here now and I ordered Mac & cheese from Flos… and was given a scoop of cheesey goop. There are no distinct noodles, and it actually is a texture closer to mashed potato’s than Mac & cheese. I asked the CM if it was normal and she said it is… they scooped another scoop for me but it was the same texture so we just got more fries instead. Super concerned that this will be a trend across the park, as Mac & cheese is all my kid wants and she took one bite of this and spit it out, but tbh I couldn’t blame her 😭

I saw someone show a map from a previous year in a YT video. Is there one from this year?

Is there anyone at the parks today that would be willing to take a clear, straight-on photo of the little sign that’s sticking out of the spicy pickles like this one? Google Photos aren’t quite clear enough and I need it for my OBB costume. I would be forever thankful!

So excited to finally get to go!

I'm returning from my first visit to the parks and my mission was to get all the coins in the resort. Aside from a few busted options that forced me to get doubles, I think it turned out pretty well. What do you think?

Got there at noon, and a whole level of the parking was empty. Rise of the resistance was 10min. The whole park felt nice and calm. I wish it was like this more often. I’m glad I went today.

How much you reckon it would cost to live inside the park? Renting either a apartment or a house in an area of your choice.

I know the legality of it all means it will never happen but just for fun…

Fyi, I Found this bag at Disneyland on Main Street on top of this trash can. Around 2:55 pm. I took it and gave it to a cm inside the emporium. Hopefully it makes its way to it’s rightful owner
