I got hacked i guess like 30 mins ago and something just sent 12 random persons some fake mr beast crypto thing, i already changed password and stuff, am i safe? Do i need to reinstall windows so my pc is clean? Help i am scared

I reported the comment twice, once for glorifying hate and once for hate speech against a group or person, and I received a restriction. Doesn't the fact that he self-identifies as such make it absurd hate speech?

Hi everyone! I believe my friend got hacked on discord because they sent me images of the mrbeast crypto scam going around. I clicked one of the images accidentally, but didn’t download any links, or visit any websites. I’m stressing right now since i don’t want my account to get hacked, but will i be safe if i just clicked the image and blocked them immediately after? 😭😭

Hello, my name is jaden and im making this post because i have no where to go to ask for help, i got hacked as of a week ago due to a phising link on discord, it looked real and i looked it up on steam and it was an actual game. little did i know, i downloaded the zipfile and the hacker wiped everything from my pc, i cant access 2 accounts and my discord. ive contacted discord and they want me to use my old email which the hacker changed to so i wouldnt be able to get in. i also used google too and no luck of them helping me either. im coming here as a last resort. i need to know if i can get my discord back along with my emails. i was willing to even pay someone to get it back for me but my friends advise against it. im not sure what to do..if anyone can help me i would appreciate it so much!

so recently i got hit with a temp chat ban cuz of spam (i admit its 12+ dms frm my side) thats ok alr. Then I got hit with another 1 just about 2-3 days after for 5 dms (note previous is 12) from ask2dms and while being contained in that ban I could not dm or vc or accept frnd rqs , but while being in it , i got hit with another ban , just cause I RECEIVED 2 dms( not random , by added frnds on dc) After it was over , I got hit with another 1 , for dming 1 person , mind you 1 PERSON, either its glitched or its unfair beacuse the ban inside a ban isnt fair since those msgs weren't from my side , and just talking and dming a single person after my ban was lifted, got me banned AGAIN , and even though previous violations have ended it still shows them as active even after mentioning it as 5 days ago , 2 days ago(respectively) the recent ban is for 8 days , not for the usual 1 , please guide me on this beacuse its lwk pure unfair moderation.(edit- I have reported the moderation as incorrect no reply after 5 days yet)

(Note - these bans were official and i received mails about passkeys being used without me present , I have changed my pass about 3 times in 4 days, and I've received two mails like that, although in 1 temporary ban i didn't get a mail about the passkeys, and i know fs that my account isnt hacked cuz i have been having those passwords which are only special characters nd some letters randomly, and no such hacks/suspicious activity is being done by my account, but the discord keeps saying suspicious activity detected (im very clean and dont post/interact with NSFW content or any hacks/malware server eg. Hi :D I was wondering if people were able to hear me if I am on a call while actively in a discord call?

I have microphone disabled in settings and I cannot access it or turn it on unless I go to settings and do it myself.

I have an iPhone, and sometimes I get calls while being in a discord call and forget to leave it to take the call, are they able to hear me? I use the already added/built-in (?) phone app that lets you take calls on iPhone,so I’m just curious.

For context I was about to watch my friends stream in discord i click his screen then suddenly my 2nd monitor,where my discord is open, kinda freezes a bit like it was about to completely hang and lags hard , i cant cross my mouse to the other monitor , i can still interact like with taskbar and windows button on my keyboard and my mouse became like split in half then completely apart like in the image i attached

This is rhe second time this happend and in both instances this happened after I interacted with discord

Hello, almost over a month ago i got banned due to the ban wave involving grid images i did tickets they were solved automitcally solved for some reason, i did one ticket which got answered by a human and fowarded to trust & safety team, i've been waiting for a response from the team for 22 days, i checked now and it says my account got turned off, i do wish to get it back since i got important stuff on it and also paid money for it, i also got wrongly banned in a false-positive situation. is there any chance for my account to get recovered? my friends still see it normally and not us "deleted".

yes i am using a browser with a vpn but its because discords banned in my country. no popup shows and it just keeps on loading and nothing happens. any way i can still use discord with a vpn?

My account got hacked about 6 months ago and I didn’t get to save the backup codes for my 2fa that is needed and I wasn’t able to open my account. I given up on it already when the support said “We don't have any other alternative recovery methods at this point in time.” so I just let it slide since I was alr exhausted from dealing with them cuz of stress and all (that account has everything important to me because I also used it for journaling..). Fast forward to 22 days ago, I reached out to the support team to remove my old number so that I can put my new one for re-verification. The support team was quick to answer and guide me but then after I confirmed to delete my old number, I cannot contact them anymore. Before I confirmed to delete my old number, I asked what can I expect if I remove my old number and they said I can log in my account thru email and then when I logged in I cannot contact change my number in my settings. None of this happened.

Now Im still searching up what to do while still following up the issue (I’ve followed up 3-4 times already during the 22 days)

Reason why I don’t have my old number already is because here in my country we need to register our numbers with our sim carriers but my sim was old so they didn’t accept to register my number, and I wasn’t able forced to change numbers.

I am trying to understand a Discord Account Standing issue, not to bypass an appeal process.

My account received two “spam” violations around two months ago. I use Discord very infrequently and I do not recognize having sent spam, mass DMs, advertisements, or automated messages.

The violation details do not show the alleged message, server, channel, recipient, event type, or even a meaningful timestamp. They only state “spam” and say that the violation will affect my account standing until July 2, 2028.

I submitted the in-app appeal for the violation(s), as Discord Support instructed. The appeal was reviewed and the decision was upheld. The web support form redirected me back to the same in-app appeal flow, so I still have no way to identify what activity was allegedly involved.

I have 2FA enabled and checked active devices/sessions; I did not find anything unfamiliar. I am not claiming that the account was definitely hacked. I am trying to understand whether other users have encountered this exact situation and whether Discord ever provided even basic, non-sensitive context after an appeal was denied.

If you experienced something similar, did the violation happen after a server join, verification request, use of a VPN, an authorized app, a bot integration, or something else? Please do not post private account details or unofficial “support” contacts.

About 2 months ago I got a violation from Discord for supposedly breaking the Child Safety Policy, and I genuinely don't understand what I did wrong.

Discord told me to press “Let us know” if I believed the action was a mistake, so I did that several times. However, I haven't actually been able to speak to a real person. Every response I've received has just been from Discord AI bots, with no proper explanation of what I supposedly did.

The only activity Discord is showing me is a message saying “this is just weird asf.” Nothing about that seems related to child safety, so I'm really confused about why my account received such a serious violation.

Now I have limited access to DMs, friend requests, servers, and attachments, and the violation is apparently going to affect my account status until 2028.

I'm not trying to get around the suspension. I just want an actual human to review my case and explain what happened. Has anyone else had Discord give them a Child Safety violation and only respond with AI? How did you manage to get an actual human review?
