This random person from a discord server I'm in added me and sent me a gift, is this legit or? 💔

About 2 months ago I got a violation from Discord for supposedly breaking the Child Safety Policy, and I genuinely don't understand what I did wrong.

Discord told me to press “Let us know” if I believed the action was a mistake, so I did that several times. However, I haven't actually been able to speak to a real person. Every response I've received has just been from Discord AI bots, with no proper explanation of what I supposedly did.

The only activity Discord is showing me is a message saying “this is just weird asf.” Nothing about that seems related to child safety, so I'm really confused about why my account received such a serious violation.

Now I have limited access to DMs, friend requests, servers, and attachments, and the violation is apparently going to affect my account status until 2028.

I'm not trying to get around the suspension. I just want an actual human to review my case and explain what happened. Has anyone else had Discord give them a Child Safety violation and only respond with AI? How did you manage to get an actual human review?

yes i am using a browser with a vpn but its because discords banned in my country. no popup shows and it just keeps on loading and nothing happens. any way i can still use discord with a vpn?

edit: i genuinely need help and am asking as i have no other means of communicating with my friends that are overseas. i know all the robo jokes already, pls just help me if you know a way

I am trying to understand a Discord Account Standing issue, not to bypass an appeal process.

My account received two “spam” violations around two months ago. I use Discord very infrequently and I do not recognize having sent spam, mass DMs, advertisements, or automated messages.

The violation details do not show the alleged message, server, channel, recipient, event type, or even a meaningful timestamp. They only state “spam” and say that the violation will affect my account standing until July 2, 2028.

I submitted the in-app appeal for the violation(s), as Discord Support instructed. The appeal was reviewed and the decision was upheld. The web support form redirected me back to the same in-app appeal flow, so I still have no way to identify what activity was allegedly involved.

I have 2FA enabled and checked active devices/sessions; I did not find anything unfamiliar. I am not claiming that the account was definitely hacked. I am trying to understand whether other users have encountered this exact situation and whether Discord ever provided even basic, non-sensitive context after an appeal was denied.

If you experienced something similar, did the violation happen after a server join, verification request, use of a VPN, an authorized app, a bot integration, or something else? Please do not post private account details or unofficial “support” contacts.

For context I was about to watch my friends stream in discord i click his screen then suddenly my 2nd monitor,where my discord is open, kinda freezes a bit like it was about to completely hang and lags hard , i cant cross my mouse to the other monitor , i can still interact like with taskbar and windows button on my keyboard and my mouse became like split in half then completely apart like in the image i attached

This is rhe second time this happend and in both instances this happened after I interacted with discord

Do any of you here have experienced something similar or know what happened?

My account got hacked about 6 months ago and I didn’t get to save the backup codes for my 2fa that is needed and I wasn’t able to open my account. I given up on it already when the support said “We don't have any other alternative recovery methods at this point in time.” so I just let it slide since I was alr exhausted from dealing with them cuz of stress and all (that account has everything important to me because I also used it for journaling..). Fast forward to 22 days ago, I reached out to the support team to remove my old number so that I can put my new one for re-verification. The support team was quick to answer and guide me but then after I confirmed to delete my old number, I cannot contact them anymore. Before I confirmed to delete my old number, I asked what can I expect if I remove my old number and they said I can log in my account thru email and then when I logged in I cannot contact change my number in my settings. None of this happened.

Now Im still searching up what to do while still following up the issue (I’ve followed up 3-4 times already during the 22 days)

Reason why I don’t have my old number already is because here in my country we need to register our numbers with our sim carriers but my sim was old so they didn’t accept to register my number, and I wasn’t able forced to change numbers.

Is there anyone who has the same issue as mine? I badly need suggestions/help I’m already missing my account so badddd

Hello, almost over a month ago i got banned due to the ban wave involving grid images i did tickets they were solved automitcally solved for some reason, i did one ticket which got answered by a human and fowarded to trust & safety team, i've been waiting for a response from the team for 22 days, i checked now and it says my account got turned off, i do wish to get it back since i got important stuff on it and also paid money for it, i also got wrongly banned in a false-positive situation. is there any chance for my account to get recovered? my friends still see it normally and not us "deleted".

I reported the comment twice, once for glorifying hate and once for hate speech against a group or person, and I received a restriction. Doesn't the fact that he self-identifies as such make it absurd hate speech?

So I accidentally left the wrong server and can't get back in. The person that let me in the first place use to have a mutual server and now we dont guess they left that one. The server in question is attached in the photo. Do I have to wait till the person adds me?

I have been trying to make an appeal but i cant becuase when i click submit a spam appeal it takes me out of the app and to the site where when i submit a appeal there a bot js reviews it and tells me to submit a in-app appeal... Hi :D I was wondering if people were able to hear me if I am on a call while actively in a discord call?

I have microphone disabled in settings and I cannot access it or turn it on unless I go to settings and do it myself.

I have an iPhone, and sometimes I get calls while being in a discord call and forget to leave it to take the call, are they able to hear me? I use the already added/built-in (?) phone app that lets you take calls on iPhone,so I’m just curious.

so i got my account terminated, i had previous limitations for hateful conduct, but i just got terminated for child self endangerment from a server i wasnt active in and it was my friends server. ive submitted a request to be un banned but i just want to know is anything going to happen? and how long would it take for a response

My discord account was disabled, in the email it said “check your account standing to appeal the ban” but I cannot check the account standing, since the account was disabled. When I try to email support for an appeal all I get is an automated email telling me to do things that I mentioned I cannot do.

this has been an issue for about a year now for me where for some reason discord overlay causes my games to act as if theyre not in the focused frame and their performance tanks. the only reason im asking about this is because overlay is incredibly useful for me at the moment since i don't have 2 monitors, this problem is most noticeable on league of legends but it also happens in deadlock, Barony and a few other titles that aren't exactly coming to mind at the moment. my system specs are fine for running these games with an overlay and the issue is inconsistent on all games i have the issue on, one time i open the game the frames are fine for hours and other times i open it and its unplayably stuttery (bad frame times mixed with reduced FPS) disabling overlay was the solution for me for a long time but i know others don't have this kind of issue so i was wondering if theres any specific fix anyone knows about or could help me try to find to allow me to use overlay and simultaneously keep the game running smooth. heres a list of the solutions ive tried on my own accord.
- re-installing the games affected and their associated app-data
- re-installing discord and its associated app-data
- legacy overlay (issue still persists on affected games
- starting discord after the game is running

Today I changed my phone (I went from a Samsung A05s to an Oppo A5 Pro, if that helps) and when I went to redownload discord, for some reason all the PFPs and emojis are lower quality. I tried changing the font size on my phone, tried smaller and bigger font sizes and they only look better at max font size, but I'm not gonna keep my phone at max font size solely to have better emojis on discord. Does anyone have tips?

i was dumb i will admit that first. someone i had used to be friends with on discord in 2022 reached out to my account last night starting with saying "its been a while" eventually i was stupid and downloaded a thing and they asked me to and ran the program because i am stupid. eventually i realized something was up when i tried to open task manager and it said it was disabled by my administraitor i realized what was happening and remembered i never added my phone number to my account for added security so i quickly did that and saw that the hacker changed the email attached to the account and i was very quickly logged out of my account after that, and when i tried to log in with my phone number and clicking forgot password it im assuming sent the password reset email to the email the hacker changed it to, after that i went to discord support to try and resolve the issue and was not recieving emails from them(i later found out this was because the hacker blocked discord and discord support from my email and i unblocked them) when i finally managed to start recieving emails from discord support again they were in turkish and said that i could reset my support accounts password when i clicked the reset password link it let me but then when i tried to log in it asked for the support 2fa "password" (which may have been a misstranslation as i am unable to change the language i get the support emails in)
i logged into discord support on a different email and opened a ticket saying my account was hacked and the hacker added 2fa to the support account otherwise i would have opened the ticket from that account. most recently i was told that someone who handles these request would take a closer look and that theyll follow up with me as soon as possible with the next steps.
if there is any hope how long would i have to wait?

Because whenever greed is in the server, sending gifs is not working like it’s deleting by itself. I know this because when i kicked greed, the gifs is working but when i added her again, it doesnt work!
