Hola los ventiladores de mi gpu Asus rog strix amd rx vega64 dejaron de girar de golpe pero la placa anda. Yo está mañana le había cambiado la fuente por una cool Master de 1200w xq quedaba justa con la placa y xq la fuente ya no servía era baja. Cuando la puse giraban los tres ventiladores, la prendimos y solo giro uno y paro, para probar que la placa andaba se abrió un juego y anda pero la temperatura estaba en 84 y los ventiladores no se prendían. Se apagó la compu giro solo uno y paro. Que le pudo haber pasado y que puedo hacer?

So basically the title. When i downstream from egpu to my lg c2 tv it only shows 1200p resolution. I select display settings on windows to tv only.

If i duplicate the screens then i get a separate resolution. I don't want to do that since egpu is stressed on duplicate while gaming

I recently got the Aoostar AG02 paired with a rtx 5060 TI to plug into my Xbox ally x. The setup works fine, however whenever I start to crank the settings higher, a strange noise starts to play. Is this normal?

I want to start this by saying this is not the reason I am getting an egpu. I’m just wondering if it’s an added benefit. I watch a lot of series and movies from my claw ex while working. Would running it through my 5070 egpu make a difference on those movies. For context I have a 27” OLED

So i have a gigabyte RTX 3060 ti and have a razer core V1 arriving tomorrow however i am a little bummed that i wont be able to charge my MSI CLAW 8AI through it whilst gaming. i have the ability to return it and get my money back ($250 AUD) . is there anything out there that i am able to replace it with i would prefer something enclosed and around that budget price

Hello. I found out I could find the Pny branded Nvida GeForce RTX 5060 8gb vram overclocked for $360 at a store I work at and I wanted to ask someone if this would be worth getting. I know that this would definitely be an upgrade over what I have since I'm just using integrated graphics but there are also other alternatives that might be more worth it at the price. I wanted to see other options I have before I pull the trigger on this. I'd like to play games at 1080p at at least 60 fps or just around that most of the time. I also started streaming so I'd like to be able to run a game with a dual screen set up without problems. I also use two monitors. I'm not gonna always be playing the most graphically intense games but I'd like the option. Even if I don't stream a game I'd like to be able to play it well. If there are better options around that price new or used I'd like to know. Thank you!

I just received my eGPU dock and I've connected everything properly.

Do I just need a PCIe port to connect my graphics card to the dock, or do I need a PC power supply in addition to the PCIe port ?

There's posts about the 9070 XT flying around across reddit and even though it's between the 5070 and 5070 Ti in performance (according to some), It will see more performance decline than gpus of lower trims and I believe cards past the 5070 and regular 9070 will see probably significant performance declines on USB4/TB4. I'd like to hear some stories out of curiosity

I am trying to avoid building a PC in this economy. Budget constraints :( . I have had a Lenovo L340 laptop through my college and now I am trying to build a console around it. Here are the current specs:

• Intel i7-9750h
• GTX 1650 Max-Q (in the laptop, right now)
• 16GB DDR4 Single channel ram
• PCIe 3.0 x4 m.2 slot (to be used for the gpu)
• OS: bazzite (linux)

and verified that it works with my friend's 4060 (pic attached, it was a mess lol)

Now the question comes which GPU to use. Thinking of getting a second hand AMD 6800xt 16gb (Around 300$). Aiming high vram to save from transfers over the bottlnecked pcie link. AMD since linux and cheap. Since I play on my 4k tv, cpu should not bottleneck much I hope

Please let me know if this looks like a good plan, is the gpu a good choice. Also what wattage PSU to use for 6800xt, claude recommending 750 watt

Hello, I am using OG Legion Go with DEG2 and 9070xt thru USB4. I have this weird issue when the whole system just freezes or game freezes and cant be closed, even tho other apps work, but I cannot even turn off the device while the game is frozen.

I dont think the issue is hardware, as it works completely fine on windows, but on linux it crashes quite often, sometimes every 2 minutes after reboot.

Did anyone have the same issues as me? What could be the problem and how to fix it? Would oculink be more stable and less headache for me?

Hello, I'm searching for an OcuLink eGPU dock without internal PSU that takes one of these as the PCIe slot power source: MOLEX, SATA, PCIe P6 or PCIe P8. Basically I don't want to have to buy a new PSU just for my external GPU if I have a PSU with at least 700W that I'm not currently using (the eGPU would just be an RTX 2060). I've already looked on amazon and aliexpress but the best I've been able to find is one with a CPU P8 input which I don't have to spare.

Been on the fence for a while now whether I wanted to take the leap, there’s obvious bottlenecks but with SteamOS and the AMD architecture it was basically plug and play. The plan is to eventually build a full size or mATX with the 9070xt to take full advantage

I've already tried it with my friend's graphics card, and the results were great—the FPS in FurMark was exactly the same as on his PC—but I'm wondering how much performance the graphics card loses due to the older PCI version and other factors? Or should I go with a 2070 or 3070?

Laptop is HP EliteBook 835 g10 R5 7540U 32 RAM 240 SSD

I have a lenovo yoga slim 7 14IMH9 (intel u7 155h+32gb ram but no gpu, with thunderbolt 4), so I will get an eGPU, I thought on aoostar ag02 as it's good and easy, but it's out of stock ant it may come back in 2 months, and don't know about what gpu to get, my display is 1080p 120Hz.

Questions:

1. Port, is there any good other than aoostar ag02 that is available on my country (spain, I don't mind buying something from outside, but there are no egpu box+gpu in my country)?
2. Egpu, I thought intel arc b580 but I read on aoostar ago2's page faq that intel gpu's are not reccomended, waht do you suggest?
3. Psu, the egpu power station heats so my computer doesn't have to heat up?
4. What loss should I expect in my graphics card's performance?

It has two M.2-2280 NVMe Slots and they use PCI-Express Gen 3 connection x4

As I need more VRAM for Local LLMs, I was thinking about doing the oculink on one ssd slot with an external gpu. However, I am not sure if it is worth it with the PCI-Express Gen 3 x4 connection ? The goal would be to use both the internal 6800M's 12GB and the VRAM of the external card (e.g. 12GB VRAM from 6800M + 16gb VRAM from external card = 28GB setup).

If it can work, which egpu stations would you suggest ?

I was also wondering if some egu stations would support 2 (or more) gpus ... Not afraid to run a frankenstein setup, I am just trying to optimize costs by reusing what I have as much as possible

Aye yall. Seeing how the market is turns me off from trying to build a PC and I've looked into an eGPU setup for my laptop. So far I think I've settled on a Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT for the card itself. Any recommendations for enclosures or other advice in general?
