Finished in the toaster oven before the lettuce went on. Sadly no tomato, was banking on someone bringing one in bc someone has every day the last 2 weeks 😢. Might take 5 or 6 minutes to get it all together and heated but oooh boy do they get jealous. TRUST THE PROCESS.

Made beet reubens.
Roasted the beets, peeled, sliced and then threw a pickling style spice blend on while sautéing them in a pan.

Wasn’t bad.

This is a creation I came up with several months ago. I call it the Italian Sloppy Joe. Ciabatta roll cut in half, garlic butter inside & on the top bun. Toast to your liking. Ground beef, marinara/pasta sauce of your liking, a nice piece of mozzarella cheese & some arugula.

Rough chopped anything tossed together between two pieces of bread somehow hits great right after a long day outside. I like neat and well thought out, but this ham, Swiss, pickle, mustard, mayo, tomato sandwich on Italian bread was just killer. Absolutely destroyed it.
