Hi, I'm struggling to figure out what cable connects with this internet outlet, a standard RJ45 cable doesn't fit as well as a fibre cable. Does anyone know what kind of adapter I would need or is there just something missing in my outlet? My internet provider isn't useful and keep sending me useless cables

I bought a prebuilt and it doesn’t have WiFi and I need to put it an Ethernet which is what I would do anyways. It doesn’t connect but it’s flashing orange and not even connecting to the internet. Pls help I have changed ports and still it doesn’t work

Apologies if this comes across as a stupid question - I’m no master on how this all works.

First picture is my Openreach connected to the Ethernet socket in my apartment.

Second is the Ethernet then connecting to my router, which works fine. This part isn’t the issue, WiFi works fine, fast Ethernet speeds when I connect up there.

Third picture is my Xbox connected directly to the Ethernet socket downstairs. Doesn’t work. Only connects to WiFi.

Am I being dense or can I not actually do what I’m trying to do? I want to get my Xbox on a wired connection downstairs but it doesn’t seem to work the same way it does with my router. I assumed that as my Openreach was connected to my Ethernet socket, that it meant I could use any Ethernet socket in my house and that would effectively link them all together?

Again apologies if that all sounds dumb, I really don’t know what I’m doing here 😂

Question is in the title ? Can I get it if possible? Let me know guys ? Much needed .
