Fallout TV I don't understand how people say the Fallout shows doesn't make a canon ending for New Vegas when it clearly does.

The canon ending is a low or neutral karma Yes Man ending. The NCR is deteriorated, but still trying their never war or expansion, just like the game said they would. Caesars legion is fractured from the death of Caesar, just like every NPC in the game said they would. The Courier ignored the Great Khan's, so they stayed thugs and drug dealers. We don't know what happened to the Mojave Brotherhood, but the game always said they were doomed. We don't know the Couriers actions with the 3 Families, but that doesn't matter 10 years later when the Deathclaws moved in. The canon ending is right in front of peoples eyes, but some say that it isn't canon?

Fallout 76 - Whitesprings IRL, The Greenbrier, WV

We recently spent a day at the Greenbrier for one of our birthdays, which is the IRL inspiration for the Whitesprings in Fallout 76. This historical site features a declassified secret government bunker that you can pay to tour. What we really enjoyed was the attention to detail the game paid to the location, and that we were able to easily find our way around without needing much help, due to playing 76.

This is one of our many trips to the Greenbrier. If you want to see the Greenbrier at its most magical, we really love it during the holidays when it is heavily decorated and goes all out for Christmas.

While there we enjoyed walking the grounds, paid to do the bunker tour, shopped, and ate. We, of course, had to have a few drinks at the bar on the 1st floor.

I am not compensated for this post in any way; I just like traveling.

Discussion So how do people see through the Power Armor eyes?

Thumbnail

Before anyone says, no this is not meme content, I just found the first image to be the best showcase of my question here and it would appear to be humorous in nature but no I do not want to violate rule 3 on this sub.

But I want to ask, how does this work? People said something like periscope lenses or HUD though I'm not sure how good that would be.

And how come the TV show has the eyes alligned well but the games do not?

I had a theory that the person inside can elevate himself further up in the suit. Like when he has no helmet he is elevates himself to be more down so he doesn't have an exposed neck and when in the helmet he elevates himself more up.

I mean in the fourth and last image the guy wearing T-60 is noticably more exposed in the neck are than Danse and others are in the game which you can see in the third image. So is it possible that it's due to some elevation mechanisms inside?

It would make sense to go more down if you do not currently wear a helmet since your head is less exposed and also I think there is plenty of room for his shoulders and whole body to go up no?

It would also be a practical mechanism for people of varying heights, so a shorter person could lift himself up. Could that work given how the internals of power armor in 4 and 76 look?

This was an absolutely amazing day! All of the attractions were amazing, and the tours of Prabhupada's Palace of Gold and the West Virginia Penitentiary were a blast! The palace itself was beautiful, and the grounds were so pretty. It was cool seeing live peacocks just roaming around. The Penitentiary was fun as well, the history behind both places were super interesting! After that we decided to make our way to point pleasant to make today an easier trip with less driving. We got to see the Amphitheatre and Mothman Statue.

We just left the Mothman Museum about 15 minutes ago and are making our way to the Flatwoods Monster Museum in Sutton! After that we're going to Flatwoods, the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, and Helvetia before heading home! We spent nearly $100 USD on merchandise from the Mothman Museum (We had to get memorabilia somewhere during this trip, so I figured this was the best place), and I even got a Sunset Sarsaparilla! Once again huge thanks to my mom for helping me set all this up, I love her dearly!

I’m getting a start on my NCR Ranger cosplay. My first cosplay and by far the largest print/project I’ve done. I’ve only done miniatures before this, and I’m learning that not everything I do there scales well for cosplay!

AppForgery helmet, Galactic Armory NCR Ranger armor is printed and I’m just getting started sanding and priming.

Mine is Zion Canyon. They did an exceptional job capturing the essence of such a beautiful park with the limited space they had. What's your favorite FNV location?

Discussion Is “16 times the detail” actually quantifiable when comparing Fallout 76 to Fallout 4?

Post image

I know this is one of Todd’s biggest presentation blunders, and so I’ve not seen anything that takes the time to measure if this is a factual statement.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone taken the time to research whether Fallout 76 had more detail than Fallout 4 (if at all)? And also shared the results?
