We’re actively investigating issues you’re encountering with the latest Fallout 4 update and Anniversary Edition launch. You should now see faster load times of the Creations menu, game menu, and redemption of Creation Club items. We plan to publish a hot fix early next week to address the following:
The hotfix will be followed by two patches. The first patch will be the week of Nov 24th, and the second, in the first half of December. We’ll provide an overview of these patches soon. Thank you for your continued updates and support tickets, it’s helped us to pinpoint issues. We’ll work to address these as quick as we can.
Notably, in the November patch, Xbox Series X/S players will see Creations local storage limit increased substantially. Growable up to 100GB to match your needs. We are also looking into increasing storage on PlayStation.
----- 11/13 update ----
Thank you all for your continued communications with our support team. We've seen a lot of questions about the "Tale of the Beast Hunter" Creation not being accessible on PlayStation. Please know that we are working to bring this Creation to PlayStation at a later date and it would continue to be free for players.
----- 11/17 Hotfix ----
Today’s Fallout 4 hotfix addresses the following:
We’re continuing to collect everyone’s feedback and encountered issues, so if you’ve submitted a ticket with our support team or provided details to our team in Discord, thank you. It’s been extremely helpful.
For next steps, the team is focused on additional fixes in our first November Patch. We’ll share those details as soon as we can.
-------- Update on May 27th 2026 ------
Please find our patch notes for today's update here

Bethesda has made a statement about the state of the update
Just wanted to make a thread clearing up some confusion and compiling the known issues of the new update.
There are three new SKUs for the game, the Anniversary Edition, the Anniversary Upgrade, and the Creations Bundle.
Anniversary Edition includes the base game, all DLCs, and all the new creations content.
The Anniversary Upgrade includes the DLCs and new creations content.
The Creations Bundle includes only the creations. If you already have the base game and the DLCs, this is the only new addition you need to have all the new content.
This will be updated periodically

Imagine how scary it would be if someone did this to you irl? Like you're saying something that you THINK you're saying for the first time and someone repeats the whole sentence to you faster than you could even think it... creepy.. I.. I don't think I live in a video game.. but unless something like that happens.. you'd never know...

So recently I was leveling once again and doing the Idiot Savant start instead of max int. I have seen people site the math when stating that int overtakes idiot at int 16. My experience contradicts that.
Idiot frees up several mostly unused points in the early game and gives a nice advantage in that way, but it IS a bit slow to start so I realized using some + int items till level 12 helped a bit there.
The big difference though was once I started getting used to switching on int gear and int chems I kept them around past lvl 34.
I realized, you can fish for Idiot procs, killing low level mobs in an area till it procs and gives you 60 seconds of 5X XP gain. So soon as it procs, you throw on the int gear and use your berry mentats.
Bam now you're getting the 11 int (2+clothing and drug bonuses) base (+33% xp) (or more if you collect more int gear) X5 for all the high XP mobs in that area. Well rested/lover's and Gage's companion perk give you further xp base bonus, as does squirrel stew. add them all together and these kills from the proc get you :
base XP + 33% from int
+ 2% from food
+ 15% from lover
+6% From gage.
1.56 X 5 = 7.8X XP for that 60 seconds.
If you now base your strategy for kill order in any given area, you'll nearly guarentee a proc before you kill the high xp leaders in the area. Turns a proc that starts as a big of a gamble betting on averages, into something much more in your control.
The numbers skyrocket even more if the gear you're switching to for int bonus is unyealding; a non nerd rage bloodied build.
I personally believe this play style ends up producing more xp not just than int 16, but in fact more overall XP even than int 46.
Others can let me know if I was missing something, and obviously the int build takes much less planning and fiddling around during play, but yeah, do you guys think I'm onto something here?
Seeing numbers like 2300 xp when I kill mirelurk queens just hits different.

I may have gone a little crazy with this...
Stray thoughts:
I am on vanilla with the DLC, but no mods.
This is mildly inspired by the old Beverly Center Mall from L.A. in the nineties.
I wanted an opaque roof and entirely artificial lighting inside, but the roof always shows some light through (I used the concrete roof) and the build limit would not allow a second layer sub-roof.
It is pretty secure. I have one tunnel where caravans come in and out and it is lined by turrets..BUT sometimes raiders spawn INSIDE the structure. This is very rare, but still annoying.
I wanted an isolated space where I could control the environment, but despite being completely covered by roofing (except one tile where the big tree sticks through) I still get weather inside the structure. Rain happens. Haze happens. Bleh.
I have three concrete sub structures inside. One houses the robot workshop and terminals, one is my residence with power armor display room and weapons vault and one is a secure building around my generators, because they got damaged by raiders once.
I have no lag or framerate problems, one of the glories of playing an old game on a new PC!

Before anyone says, no this is not meme content, I just found the first image to be the best showcase of my question here and it would appear to be humorous in nature but no I do not want to violate rule 3 on this sub.
But I want to ask, how does this work? People said something like periscope lenses or HUD though I'm not sure how good that would be.
And how come the TV show has the eyes alligned well but the games do not?
I had a theory that the person inside can elevate himself further up in the suit. Like when he has no helmet he is elevates himself to be more down so he doesn't have an exposed neck and when in the helmet he elevates himself more up.
I mean in the fourth and last image the guy wearing T-60 is noticably more exposed in the neck are than Danse and others are in the game which you can see in the third image. So is it possible that it's due to some elevation mechanisms inside?
It would make sense to go more down if you do not currently wear a helmet since your head is less exposed and also I think there is plenty of room for his shoulders and whole body to go up no?
It would also be a practical mechanism for people of varying heights, so a shorter person could lift himself up. Could that work given how the internals of power armor in 4 and 76 look?

Used homemaker and bobs iguana diner to expand the projector quite a bit, now trying to decide how I’m going create a larger scale diner or something more unique, would love ideas/suggestions!

Gotta love the Pain Train perk combined with the Targeting HUD, especially in Far Harbor. Sometimes I combine it with melee, and I feel almost unstoppable.

I've been playing for years, never got one. With all the posts lately and starting a new game due to unemployment and a shitty economy, I've lucked out at getting a pie at level 16. Small things get you through, ya know? Got lucky by spamming every Port-O-Diner I found!

Hey guys, just making my way through Boston & encountered a bunch of dialogue prompts for raiders that don’t exist? Has anybody seen this before?

I reached level 85 and I improved some of my skills and got enough supplies to make the device that helps me teleport to the Institute, I got help from the Minutemen to actually do. I don’t know if this is going to affect some of the story but I’m pretty sure that whatever it is that I’ll find in this adventure I can manage.

After facing Kellogg and exiting the building I had
-the brotherhood mothership arriving (that is scripted)
-an ambush from the enclave literally in my face (dude with power armor and flame thrower right in my face 1 meter in front of the exit from the building)
-a raider group attack
🤷♂️

It’s my first time playing on Survival, and also my first time doing the Far Harbor DLC. I can honestly say there’s definitely more action and cooler encounters on this island than in the whole main game.

Because i just read them for the first time and ive heard about how bad the pre-war world is, But the fact that its gotten to the point where a boss can just kill an employee for spilling coffee on his shirt is crazy.
I might have to read more terminal entries around the world now because that is weird and also really intriguing, Its a glimpse of the pre-war world that I hadn't at one point known, And I usually just skip terminal entires and now I feel like ive been missing out on the small bits of lore like that.

Funny, tragic, drug deals interrupted, let's face it, skeletons tell a very short story! ;p

So in the game you can help the Slog and I think they then join the minutemen but there are still no ghoul minutemen npcs, the railroad are a group of people that want to liberate synths and not a single ghouls wants to liberate synths too? I know it's probably a design choice or an overlooked aspect but raiders and triggermen can have ghouls but the two good factions can't? Maybe there's a mod that fixes that or something but I still think it's dumb on Bethesta's side.
