So far still no pvp-worthy results, but I'll wait for anyone to cook up an agendapost lmao

I feel like everyone was waiting to rip HSR apart (again), but 30M for just Robin put in a pin in that.

I feel like we're moving to a bunch of disgruntled Genshin 2.0 fans who continue to pray for their ex game's downfall.

It's just not happening if the game is majority casuals and if they continue to enjoy the story and characters well there's nothing to be done about that.

I think it is more because of the typical Honkai-fans personality. This personality is now killing HSR itself. Classic.

Real fun HSR PvP will start when Aventurine banner drops, whatever the result (and by fun, I mean miserable)

The HSR thing is largely an echo chamber.

The people malding are not the game intended audience (anymore) and the paying playerbase are completely fine.

Like the QOLs they add to the game indicates that. As long as they are satisfied with the story, the revenue is actually quite healthy. In fact they are more similar to FGO than other top gacha now, a glorified visual novel.

Lets be real here, No one fking play FGO for the gameplay.

Thats not true, figuring out 3t 90++ with my own servants, and beating story bosses have been the reason I enjoyed the game so much.

I just skip the story and watched them on youtube later on with 1.5x speed.

3t 90++ = getting all meta supports. Beating story bosses = getting all meta supports. Beating CQ quest = getting all meta support. Game playwise it's HSR. Fgo has better stages/CQ design.

The paying playerbase are on the verge of getting their rights taken from them

HSR (Robin) actually under performed pretty hard in CN. Robin is a very popular character with strong power creep. In the past this would be a $50 million month but it’s not even $30 million. In CN charts she’d have reached top 2 or top 3 in the past. This time she only reached top 7 with a rapid fall off (7->13->23 in the first 3 days). Right now it’s sitting close to 70 just a week after banner start.

But JP saved her banner. JP is the type not to care about predatory tactics, but I want to emphasize that’s true for pretty much any gacha JP plays since they’re used to it. CN is not & the fall off has been notable.
