Fuck this octopod
He’s the monster that’s given me the most trouble in my 900+ hours.
Can never read his attacks appropriately. I’m running water Gog with Soul of the dark night, I have a good stat role 3 attack 1 sharpness 1 affinity.
Resentment 5 counterstrike 3 MM 3 Wex 5
DB 3 speed eating 3 adaptability 2 fire resist 20+
Using environmental damage plus traps/ luring pods/ sleep toads. Whether I use support hunters or solo. My times on previous challenge hunts with Duna 9 min, Rey 12 minutes, At Ark 18 min. This one just escapes me.
Again Fuck this 8 tentacled butt booger 😭😭

Hello! I'm really struggling with finding a good build at lvl 60, I know that's pretty low level but I just get so overwhelmed with all this stuff. I kinda understand how the decorations work but I'm struggling against tempered monsters and I feel really like I'm lacking in overall knowledge on good skills for greatsword, how to structure a build and what I should be working towards. I'm really hoping for something cool and unique as following the meta doesn't interest me all that much, the shattersword looks cool too ig. Help would be appreciated, thank you :)

Mine was 23-25 minutes solo. I know my damage output is not small, especially when i’m able to dish out up to 1k damage to arkveld head with my tcs. Is it possible to achieve sub 15 or 10 without any heroics?

I started picking the greatsword back up after a long long break the "meta" sets have never truly felt good to me. So I made this last night. How's it look?

Got my time down to A rank clear completion from B by 6 minutes!
This build slaps, only thing I wish I had was guard up 1 to get out of a couple sticky situations.
Also a cool end screen.
Let me see your builds for completing the Challenge quest!

I am currently working on a GS build I saw on game8, its the first build I am replicating from this website, because of this I don't exactly know what they want from me. I want to know if I understood the instructions right.
From this description I would build a artian GS with three attack infused parts, probalby dragon, because it should be good? And then I upgrade it to a Gogma-Artian, and this is where I am confused, it says +30 element on the Production Bonus, should I upgrade it to be an elemental weapon?? Thanks in advance for the help!
link to the build: https://game8.co/games/Monster-Hunter-Wilds/archives/502430 (you have to scroll down)

Ayé chasseurs, je viens tout juste de commencer Monster Hunter World. Et j'aimerais savoir quel set d'armure et talents jouer pour valoriser à fond la GS(je viens de battre l'Anjanath).

The one where you jump and lodge your greatsword into the monster, then push your weight on it and deal damage. Every guide I find for it only shows console controls. Also, how do you get into a block battle with a monster? The one where you block(?) with the gs and the monster pushes into you and then you push the monster. And the attack where you drag the gs across the monster's wounds that they showed in the promo trailer for the base game? Sorry for not knowing the terms, I'm a noob.
