I’m getting a decent amount of traffic to my website, but way too many people visit, click around for a bit and leave without actually doing anything.

At this point I’d rather figure out how to get more from the traffic I already have instead of just throwing more money at getting new visitors.

I’ve been going through the obvious stuff like page speed, mobile experience, simplifying forms and making the main call to action clearer. But I’m curious what changes have actually made a noticeable difference for people here.

If you managed to increase website conversion, what did you change? Was it the copy, pricing, design, checkout, trust signals, shorter forms, or something completely different?

Also curious about things you tested that you were convinced would work but ended up doing basically nothing.

We recently had a conversation with the CEO of Ace Hardware, and they expressed interest in carrying our product exclusively across their locations. The catch? We haven't been able to give them a firm answer or close the deal yet because our current manufacturing process can't support those volumes.
We know exactly how to solve our manufacturing bottlenecks, source the tooling/machinery, and scale production to supply a mass retail rollout, but executing that plan requires roughly $1,000,000 in upfront capital. Because we haven't been able to confirm production capacity, we don't have a signed Purchase Order or formal LOI in hand, which rules out traditional PO financing or bank debt.
For founders who might have had experience in this, how did you bridge the gap? Are we strictly looking at angel/seed equity, bringing in a strategic contract manufacturer, or pitching equipment financing? How would you re-engage the CEO/executive team while raising this round?

A few of my clients keep asking about AI SEO and whether they should care about showing up in LLM answers. They already rank fairly well in Google, so I'm trying to work out what extra value this gives them. Are people tracking referrals, assisted conversions, brand searches, citations or just visibility across prompts? Curious what has actually been useful on the business side, not just the SEO side. Do you guys use any platforms for this or do it manually?

One thing I think gets overlooked when traders move from their own account to a funded or externally managed account is that the same strategy can require a different risk-management approach. On your own account, you might be comfortable letting a position breathe through a temporary drawdown. Under a funded account's rules, the same trade could become a problem if there are strict daily or overall loss limits. That does not necessarily mean the strategy is bad. It means the strategy and the account constraints have to be compatible. I think this is something worth testing before trading a funded account rather than discovering it after violating a rule.

I want to share something that happened to me recently.

I have been trying to grow my X account the honest way. Four months ago I had zero followers. Today I have about 140. The account itself is old. But I only started using it seriously a few months ago.

My goal was simple. Post about building my products. Connect with real people. Grow slowly and naturally.

Two days in a row I tried the Boost feature. X shows this button to every user. I paid for it and used it twice. But it had no effect to gain addtional replies or followers.

During those same two days I also spent time engaging with other founders. I left comments on posts from indie hackers and product builders in my feed. Some comments were just me saying let's connect. One was a short question about email services for people who manage multiple domains. Nothing was spammy. Nothing was a link drop or a promotion.

The next day my account got temporary flagged as spam. Weeks later it is still flagged. Nothing I post reaches anyone now.

I did not use any automation tool. I did not send hundreds of messages. I spent maybe one to two hours a day on this. That was my whole plan for growing the account.

I still do not know exactly what caused the flag.

I already pushed the 'Submit request' button multiple times on the 'spam flagged' notifications. But nothing happened. Who knows how many days should I wait? Or should I take additional action to resolve this?

Has anyone else run into something like this while trying to grow on X?

Bookings are finally fairly consistent so now I'm looking at the business a little differently. Until now my whole mindset was basically more bookings means growth. But there's obviously a limit to how many tours you can physically run, especially when you're working with a small team. At some point adding another departure every day just means more work not necessarily a better business.

So I want to know how other operators increase revenue from tours once bookings are reasonably healthy.
