"screw the customer a little bit" for the sake of profits?
interesting comment made to me today; someone i work with told me they once heard that you have to "screw the customer a little bit" to make more profit, and that seems totally ok to them
how true is this and is it as regarded as i think at face value?

How did you actually find the business you decided to build?
I’ve been trying to find a new business for months but still feel completely stuck. I enjoy building brands, creating content, testing ads and seeing real sales, so I’d preferably like to create a physical product that I’d genuinely enjoy working on.
Please don’t just say “find a problem and solve it” or “I worked in the industry and saw an opportunity.” I want to understand your actual thought process. What made you notice the opportunity, why did you choose that particular product, and how did you determine why customers would buy yours instead of the existing alternatives?
I’m also curious how you knew you would enjoy building the business long term. Did you already love the product category, or did it become interesting once you started developing the product and brand?
I’m not asking anyone to give me an idea. I want to understand how people went from feeling completely lost to choosing a business that felt both enjoyable and capable of selling.

I’m 19 and have around 20k PKR/month. What small business or investment would you start?
I’m 19 and a student in Pakistan. I have around 20k PKR every month that I can save, sometimes a little more.
I want to do something with it instead of just letting it sit there or spending it. I’m thinking about starting some kind of small business, buying and reselling something, investing it, or doing anything else that could eventually turn into a decent source of income.
I know 20k isn’t a lot, and I’m not expecting to make huge money immediately. I just want to start somewhere and keep putting money into it every month.
If you were in my position, what would you do with 20k PKR a month? I’d really appreciate actual ideas, especially from people who have tried starting something with a small amount of money in Pakistan.
