Took my first solo trip last min to Portugal (with Amsterdam stopover) to escape some divorce drama for a little before starting my new job and knew I wanted to treat myself as it’s been a tough year. Say hello to the new baby!! First luxury bag purchase at age 33 and self earned after 15 years of hard work ! And even better VAT refund hit already 🤑

Dropped today! I bought this one and the matching charm. Don’t roast me please! Lol

Wore this all over Manhattan, walked a total of 33 miles with it. It fit a water bottle, an umbrella, and other odds and ends that I needed to stuff in there throughout the trip! My favorite bag ever.

The leather is gorgeous, the green suede is to die for, and I’m in loooooove with the red interior. I’m so happy with the way it looks, but it is *so* damn heavy!!! I’m afraid to add charms and make it worse 😅😭

I was browsing Michael Kors and came across this new bag they’re about to release. It’s giving Rodeo mixed with a Birkin, and I love how slouchy it is!

I completed residency and am about to start my first job as an attending physician. What are your thoughts on this as a work bag. I am hoping it will fit my water bottle, snack box, makeup pouch, AirPods, another pouch with some coins and Knick knacks, a notebook , an iPad and maybe a folder .

I love this bag. Great for every day. Certainly can’t beat $50! Wish they had more colors. Would have got another.

This is just a rant post, but I need to get it off my chest! When I was a teenager, I was a proud, extreme minimalist. I couldn't care less about designer bags (ironic, considering how much I love vintage bags now) and all I wanted was cash.

My grandma gave me about seven vintage designer bags:Chanel, Prada, Fendi. I cannot believe I sold them for around $50 each. At the time, I was absolutely thrilled and felt like I had struck gold.

Now? I regret it so much. Not only would I love to actually wear them, but it would be so special to have something passed down from my grandma.

For context, these weren't precious heirlooms she bought and treasured. She received them from her wealthy aunt, who escaped communist Poland and kept sending her used designer items from the US. To her, luxury meant good quality materials, not the logo, so she barely wore them and happily handed them over to me.

Growing up in a very low-income household raised by a single mom, I never got pocket money. Getting $50 for a bag felt like it was raining money. I completely understand why my teenage self did it... but it’s still painful. I’m currently looking to buy a vintage Fendi similar to one I sold, and prices start at $5k!

This whole experience also totally changed my perspective on the idea of "collecting bags/jewelry to pass down to my future daughter." We always think they'll treasure it, but I know so many people who inherited gold jewelry from parents and just immediately sold it for cash.

The coating on the zipper has cracked at the bottom, It’s no problem at the current state as the crack is due to it being at the bottom corner, but would love some tips/suggestions for cleaning and or treatment to maintain the longevity of these types of coating on bags.

Hi everyone, I don't have a Loewe boutique near me and need some advice before dropping €2,250 for my first designer bag.

I work in a creative role within banking (so the vibe isn't super conservative), but I still need a bag that looks polished and can fit a 3 day trip and also fit my 12,5” laptop for work. I want to use this as my everyday’s bag.

I just returned a Fendi Lui Larga bag (34x27x13 cm) since it was way too small in real life.

I’m currently eyeing the Large Loewe Switch Tote (Black/Espresso). I love that it’s 45x38x14 cm but folds down for regular office days.

Does anyone actually own this and can vouch for the size/feel?

What are your general tips or things I should know before buying my first Loewe/designer bag?

My birthday present to myself and officially my 20th Loewe bag. 😅😅😅😅

And somehow, after 20 bags, this is actually my first Flamenco Purse!

I have five Flamenco Clutches. Three minis, a medium, and a large, so obviously I’m no stranger to the Flamenco family. But I’ve traditionally disliked the Purse version. I’ve looked at them so many times and could just never get into the shape, the chain, or convince myself that I needed one.

Until Loewe released this new pleated version.

They got me.

I absolutely LOVE what the pleating does to the bag, and the longer shoulder strap completely changed how I feel about the Purse style. It just sits so nicely when you wear it and feels a little different from all of my Flamenco Clutches while still having everything I love about the Flamenco.

And then there’s this color. 😍

It’s such a gorgeous neutral and I love that it can go with so much without being boring. I also really like how understated this bag is. Unless you know Loewe, it doesn’t immediately scream Loewe and can kind of fly under the radar, which I love.

I’m so excited to add her to the collection and even more excited that my birthday bag ended up being something I wouldn’t necessarily have predicted for myself.

So yes… 20 Loewe bags.

I purchased this LV Neverfull MM from a Japanese seller on eBay, bag was authenticated before and after purchase by eBay, and it looks and feels authentic. When I went to fold in the sides and cinch it in place to see how it would look this way, the strap came right apart. I barely pulled on it to straighten it out and slide up the piece to hold it in place. I did not notice a tear in this area but I didn’t not pointedly inspect this specific area before moving it. I am so disappointed. I just unboxed it. What can I do?
