Hi everyone, I’m having a problem with Reddit. Whenever I post or comment with a picture, the picture sometimes disappears afterward. I’m not sure if this is a Reddit app bug, a moderation issue, or something else.

I’ve tried checking my profile and reopening the app, but the problem keeps happening. Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know how I can fix it?

Is anyone else having issues sending images in Reddit chat? Mine currently fails to upload all images, issue is replicated as well for people on the other end of my chats

I know about rereddit to see top global posts from a specific time, but can I do this inside a specific subreddit? I feel like this would generally help with searching for recommendations.

On the mobile site Reddit recommends "similar" posts to the one I'm reading at the bottom of the page. But it keeps recommending extremely racist, sexist and homophobic posts from hate subreddits. How do I turn those off?

A couple of months ago my account was deleted out of the blue and left no trace not even an email saying anything, I thought maybe someone didn’t like a comment of mine and Reddit took it too seriously so I made another and followed all of the new subs, but yesterday my new account is deleted with no trace and all I have now is the username from an old email, I used the help email and form and received nothing back. This is bs my first account I paid for a cosmetic item years ago and just poof

On the 23rd of August, I was on Reddit trying to find a guide for a game, when I realized I wasn't signed in. I thought this odd since I never logged out, so I went to sign in with my usual email and password, and it prompted me to create a new account. My account name was yami_melon. I decided to make the new account, looked up my user name, and it was no where to be found. I hadn't posted anything in a while, probably 6 months, so I doubt it was a ban from Reddit. Never got an email about account deletion or a ban. I did, however, upvote and downvote posts in the last 6 months, so it couldn't have been an account deletion due to inactivity? So now I'm thinking maybe it was hacked and deleted. I tried contacting Reddit on the 23rd, no response. I tried again on the 27th, still no response. I wish I had even a clue as to why my account is gone.

When using the reddit mobile app, messages get auto translated (from my native language to English), and most of the time it's even an accurate translation, how do i turn that off?

Solved: In the Reddit app, go to Settings>Language and translations>turn off auto-translate.

I was blocking a person with an unkind reply and attempting to remove their comment and must have messed up. Now I can't see any comment on any page or post. If you reply to this post I can't see the comment UNLESS it is a very short sentence that will show up in my email. Otherwise your help won't help me....

So, whenever I go on one specific subreddit on desktop, the sidebar loads for a split second, and then disappears, with no way to bring it back. This isn't happening on any other subreddits, and it isn't happening with the "see more" option on the iOS app (I'm logged into the same account on both). Disabling browser extensions did not work. What is happening, and what can I do to resolve this?

My account u/urfavouriteBWC (this is an 18+ account) was locked for technical irregularities. After resetting my password and logging back in, none of my posts came back and it says I now have 0 followers. I researched the issue further and as a consequence, I enabled 2fa on both the Reddit account and the email linked to the account. This still did not allow me to view my posts and it still appears that I have 0 followers. When I attempt to view it on this account it tells me the profile is unavailable. Please help! Will I ever get my posts and followers reinstated?

after an update on my tablet i had to factory reset it and reinstall all my apps, and no problem whatsoever, except with reddit.

tried logging on the app and keep getting this message "uh oh, something went wrong but we're nit sure what. try that again."

i can login in from the browser with no problem at all, anyone else with same problem? anyone with some advice or solution to the issue?

So i somehow followed a search term and now i get notifications for this phrase anytime it is posted in the title of a post on all of reddit. I want to turn this off but cant remember exactly how i did this. Everywhere I search ppl are saying reddit doesnt have the capable to "follow" search terms or phrases across all of reddit. But I do get a simple notification any time its posted that says "update on 'phrase'" then followed by the title of the post underneath that. Any help is appreciated I asked ai and it has me going in circles. Maybe its right in front of me and im missing it. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

I have added a SFW custom image for my profile picture but it shows up as an avatar every time I post. My custom profile pic is showing up on my account though.

My question is how to fix it so my custom profile picture shows up when I post
