So i recently saw a post about the iracing lemons 24hours race. And that layout got me thinking about how little endurance races there are for the slower and less used cars in iracing.

I am fortunate enough to be able to host sessions and even give out price money to make it extra fun to fight for the win.

Now, comment me this. Which cars, legacy, old, new. Doesn't matter. Would you like to see or race in a 24 hours.

We can use popular and free tracks. Or even do this event twice a year? 1 time on a free track, the other time on a paid track.

Any idea or comment is welcome. Hopefully we can make this happen. Thankyou.

Wanted to vent about F4. Raced at Laguna Seca twice yesterday in F4 after basically taking break from F4 for 2 seasons. Jfc.

First race: someone parks it on the apex during a high speed turn and I don't have time to react and run right into him. Meatball. Later, making a move on the outside at the last turn. The guy moves under braking right into my lane and we hit wheels.

Second race: First turn someone just veers into me approaching the turn. Boom. Meatball. Later on the last turn of the last lap. I make a move to the inside. He gets scared, goes wide, and then loses control and hits me recovering his spin. I take the place and after the line, he just rams into the back of me.

You'd think since it's open wheel, people would be more careful. I get more space from people when racing GT4s.

Just like the GT4 is now C class, the same should be for F4. And while we're at it the Formula ladder makes no sense. You can drive F1 and IndyCar at Class C but Super Formula requires B class? Makes no sense. I know F4 driving standards are awful but what do yall think? Also just wanted to vent lol

Anyone do pretty good at most other tracks but find themselves driving like a Rookie at VIR? I can’t keep a consistent time or make a good time to save my life at VIR. Feels like I have no grip at all and I already have trouble judging the grip limit on Iracing.

After 8 weeks away, I suddenly have low FPS and low GPU utilisation.

RTX 4090
7800x3D
64gb RAM

Everything was fine 8 weeks ago. Around 100 FPS (triple screen)

Now, as soon as a few cars are loaded onto the track the fps drops down (30 at some points) a gpu utilisation drops right down.

ACE performs fine (99% gpu)

Dropping graphic settings to minimum does nothing except if I have draw cars on minimum

I have rolled back Nvidia driver, did not help

Auto configure IRacing graphics

Checked the VRAM Limit in the .ini

I have no idea where to go from here. Any help would be great.

I have 3 drivers (myself included) and we're looking for a fourth to join us on consistent 24hr and other smaller endurance races. We're intending to drive the LMP2 this weekend at Lemans. Please drop a comment if you're interested and i'll reach out.

I am English but the other two drivers are american, so i dont mind where you're from. We're intending to enjoy the racing and are not terribly bothered by low irating or low race pace. As long as you're consistent and having fun, then its all good !

YouTube compresses a lot the video and I recorded using a Samsung S23 FE.

When comparing both, it amazes me how well Quest 3 performs. But, it is on another level when comparing sharpness and colors to pimax. Pimax looks like you're there, while Quest 3 makes you feel you're playing a game.

About tracking, I can't see a difference. Pimax was noticeable worse a while ago. Well done!

Lenses are very similar, both are excellent.

Only bad side of Dream Air is comfort, due to facial interface. Hoping for the new one doesn't take too long to ship.

Hello everyone!

I am team owner and driver for a team I created a few years ago called Boosted Toaster Motorsports. We are a team that looks to improve and succeed in every way we can. We mainly focus on Sports Car racing, while also occasionally branching out into other disciplines. We occasionally take part in IndyCar and NASCAR races too. Our main focus, however, is Sports Car. We take part in many iRacing Special Events, such as the Daytona 24, Bathurst 12, Sebring 12, Watkins Glen 6HR, and Petit Le Mans.

So far this year, we places 5th and 2nd at Daytona, 8th at Bathurst, 2nd and 3rd in the Sebring 12, 2nd and 4th at the 6H of the Glen. Last year we won in LMP2 at the Daytona 24. Needless to say we've seen great success so far, and we strive to continue building on that that success. We've also taken part in a few League races. Our most significant being the Majors 24, which we plan on competing in again in 2027.

Right now we are in search of additional drivers for our team to help us fill our rosters for longer endurance races, and potentially fill out more cars per race. We are mainly looking for drivers who are at minimum of 1K iRating. We want drivers who first and foremost vibe with our group, and are okay with having a good time while throwing down laps at upwards of 200 MPH virtually.

Looking to move away from myracingapps since it doesn’t get support anymore and has been wigging out lately. What suggestions for the best free overlay apps out there (if any)

As tittle said, I m looking for a Supercars racing League that can be able to join at NA timezone. I m loving the car but its hard to me to find a good split to join.

I would love a session where instead of a multi-class race, it’s multiple class racing, meaning same track, same driver, different heats or stages all in different cars.

Dream Scenario:

Watkins Glen - NASCAR Layout
Race 1: Formula F4 or USF 2000
Race 2: ARCA or Truck Series
Race 3: GT3
Race 4: Prototype

Each race is 15 minutes with 3-5 minutes of practice in between or one 60 lap race where you have to run a minimum number of laps in each car with your choice of order.

Bonus points if they could figure out staggered starting to account for how big of a lead you build in each session.

I always get this when I start up Iracing and I wonder what is a permanent fix to this as to not run into this issue again

I want to add some fuel buttons but my stickers are -no fuel, fuel full, fuel -1 and -10 and +1 and +10… how do I set those up in iracing? Which should I use? I’m confused because I haven’t seen any options in the game for stuff like that. I will be using Simhub controller mapper so I can add led profiles for these buttons (like a pro switch panel)

Any other ones I should add? Probably traction control + and - but haven’t used those much yet with what I race. Thanks for the help

Running a special event in a league soon, wondering if there's a way for the game to generate a random grid start. When I go to set up a race through the league there's an option to not have any qualifyin, just go from open practice to a race. How is the starting grid determined through that? Tia

Troubleshooting help needed. Over the last few days, when I join a race it completely takes down the rest of my network. Streaming, web access, everything from any other device is down. Also, last night shortly after starting a race, network to my race computer went down but everything else was working fine. Restarted computer, jumped back in the race, and everything else in the house went down. How do I begin to troubleshoot this?

Verizon FIOS 1gb, Asus XD5 modem/wifi router, plugged into a switch, plugged into the computer. There's a separate XD5 upstairs extending the wifi. Also plugged into the switch is a raspberry pi running PiHole as an adblocker
