Though I agree that there are flaws in the government, but still I've to side with them.

As nowadays I'm seeing people hating our govee more than the hate terr@rists. And saying this is the worst government since independence. Imo they've worked better than previous one even though they have flaws, cause I've seen visible changes.

Funny Story time: Casteism in Canada

Post image
361 Upvotes

So I never realised that this happened until recently when we got the new definition of the word. What was shocking that this happened in CANADA and not even India. I wanted to order a cup of coffeee and the white lady asked for my name, she then went ahead and picked a PLASTIC cup to bring me my coffee. She did this AFTER getting my name. Imagine the level of low casteism stooped to that even a starbucks in Canada isn't inclusive anymore. IFYKYK.

Meta Blackstone is entering the Indian education sector (we're cooked)

Under Indian law, education is classified as a charitable activity, requiring schools to register under a trust, society, or Section 8 non-profit company. Any financial surplus generated must be reinvested back into the institution rather than distributed as profits or dividends.

However, many private entities bypass this regulation through corporate structures. Promoters often set up a separate for-profit company to lease land, provide infrastructure, management services, or curriculum to the non-profit school trust, legally siphoning out surplus funds via service fees and rent.

Blackstone acquired a majority stake in Globetrotters Educational Innoventions, which operates 1 school (Jayshree Periwal International School in Jaipur) along with 6 pre-schools.

Indian law prohibits foreign private equity funds from owning school operating societies directly. As a result, Blackstone purchased a stake in the corporate management entity (Globetrotters) rather than buying the real estate or school entities directly.

This, is very, like extremely bad news for us. Private equity will make private schooling extremely unaffordable in India, if it is given easy entry. Knowing our politicians, that won't be hard. You all must already know the state of Govt schools, but if private schooling becomes too expensive, parents will have no choice but to enroll their children in government schools.

Children of any country, are its future. They're an extremely important factor in predicting the country's growth. If the business model is profitable, many other private equity firms will start buying into our education sector, and we can wave goodbye to affordable education. Parents are already being exploited by private schools, these massive corporations will suck them dry.

Law & Order Raghavendra posted a video from Kalaburagi, Karnataka. In the video, he pointed out massive, unauthorized posters, cut-outs, and flyers put up across public roads for the upcoming Milad-un-Nabi celebrations. Now a FIR has been filed against him

He publicly questioned whether municipal or police permissions had been obtained for erecting these structures on public roads. He also compared the situation to how banners put up by Hindu organisations are treated by local authorities.

Following the video, the University Police Station in Kalaburagi registered an FIR (Crime No. 211/2026) under Sections 192 (provocation with intent to cause riot) and 353(1)(c) (statements conducing to public mischief) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The complaint was filed *suo moto* by a police head constable.

Following the massive digital backlash triggered by the video and the controversial FIR, the Kalaburagi Municipal Corporation was pressured into action and eventually removed the unauthorized posters and flyers from the main city roads.

Hemendra and Mukesh were arrested when they raised the slogans while making videos and trying to create unrest and riots.

This is their typical playbook that has been seen time and time again. This time they were caught red handed. Many a times they are successful in their propaganda.

Less expectations from UP police but hoping they don't let them out only to be garlanded and welcomed with open arms by the BeeJay party.
