Only $5 for this vintage beauty! Despite the box, the actual puzzle was in great shape. Anyone know much about the history of Zig-Zag puzzles?

My to do pile was growing rapidly, so this weekend I organized everything and decided these are the ones I will aim to complete in September and October.

My fantasy/romantasy lover heart is in love with the motive because I now pretend that it is a scene of my fantasy books!

Also I’m very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the puzzle. The pieces have absolutely no glare and yes they stick together pretty well, but I’m thinking about starting a puzzle book so I probably won’t take it apart. I definitely like it better than loose pieces. I also really like the soft feeling and I think Hobbry has very cute images. Sadly I don’t live in the us/canada but due to my job i can get there quite often so I’ll definitely look for new Hobbry puzzles once I’m back.

I’m not yet sure tho if I’m the biggest fan of 500 piece puzzles because I started with 1000 piece ones and I like the challenge now.

I’m trying to cut down on social media, and for me, doing jigsaw puzzles is a great way to pass the time, along with reading. Do you have any other hobbies to suggest?

This was fun! The background was challenging and some of the colors were hard to tell apart. I did not care for the loose fit of the pieces, though.

Having a hard time to manage this one. Looking for tips how to get this done. Help

I’m not sure if I’ve done other White Mountain puzzles- I’ve heard great things but don’t do 1000pc ones, so it was fun getting to do this 300pc one. Interesting shaped pieces, and vibrant picture. Great quality. Would love to find more like this one!

I am such a huge fan of these color puzzles. I love sorting and watching them quickly come together. Beautiful image and colors. I want to find the others in the series!

Google suggested I ask this group - my first foray into Reddit! I have this old 1000 pc cardboard puzzle in a tin. It follows a grid but the pieces are irregular. I remember it as a child which places it in the 1960s. The signature is Norman Keene, apparently a recognised artist who died in 1965. I would love to know more about its date and the manufacturer. Any ideas?

Elena Essex “Woodland Magic” 1000 piece-

I have only comfortably been able to do 500piece puzzles since I didn’t have a good setup with enough space to tackle 1000pieces. Obviously, this puzzle caught my eye when I first saw it a few years ago, it’s so “on theme” for my space, I can’t even believe how perfect it. And seeing it in person, it’s gorgeous artwork and seems very good quality.

I had it on my wishlist ever since I first saw it, but just didn’t have the space for 1000pieces.

Then, my fave store/slight obsession, Aldi, had this puzzle table as a weekly deal. It spins and has drawers and that plastic piece to cover the puzzle when not working it. Plus, it was way cheaper than any others I’ve seen, so I rushed to get it when that weeks specials started.

Well, I finally got it setup on this old folding table in a spot I can comfortably work on it, and move it easily enough to keep curious buns from parkouring onto it from the couch.

The puzzle came today and I can’t stop staring at it! YEARS I’ve waited 😂 it’s so pretty

I’ll keep you updated on the progress, probably will be slow- Usually I do 1000 pieces only at my parents when I stay over the holidays, where they have a large table and I have extra help! This may be my first one I hang on the wall when I complete it. Woohoo!

The sky was completed by trial and error.
