Multiple Session MYTHIC BRITON — ONLINE, OSE B/X SANDBOX (BST - UK TIME)

System: Old-School Essentials Classic Fantasy
Style: B/X Old School Sandbox • Folk Horror • Myth & Legend
Setting: Mythic England, c. 900 AD
Players: [4–6]
Session Length: [3–4 hours]
Schedule: [TBC]

The world is old, dangerous, and full of things that people no longer understand.

England is a land of kings, lords, monasteries, farmers, warriors, and forgotten places. Roman roads disappear into forests. Ancient burial mounds stand untouched on lonely hills. Old stones mark places whose purpose has been forgotten. Priests preach against the old ways, while in distant villages people still whisper stories of things that live beyond the edge of the firelight. And sometimes, those stories are true.

Mythic Briton is an old-school B/X-style sandbox using Old-School Essentials. The adventure focuses on exploration, folklore, myth, mystery, and the strange relationship between humanity and the supernatural. You are not legendary heroes when the game begins. You are ordinary people who have decided to step beyond the safety of civilization. Perhaps you seek wealth, fame, knowledge, faith, revenge, or simply a better life. Whatever your reason, you will need one.

Folk Horror & The Fay

The supernatural is an important part of the setting, but it isn't presented as a catalogue of fantasy monsters. The people of Mythic Briton live in a world where myth, religion, superstition, and reality overlap. Elves, spirits, witches, giants, monsters, and other beings exist in stories told around fires and in warnings passed between generations. The Church may call something a demon. A farmer may call it a spirit. A Norse settler may have an entirely different name for it. The question is, Who is right?

The Fay are particularly important to the setting. They are strange, rare, and poorly understood by humanity. Their existence is not common knowledge, and the truth behind the stories surrounding them will need to be discovered through play. Dwarves, Elves, and Halflings are not available as starting characters. They may become playable later once the setting has been established and players have had the opportunity to understand what these peoples actually are.

Old-School Play

This is an OSE / B/X style game, so expect a different approach to character power and problem solving than modern heroic fantasy. You will be expected to think creatively, make use of your equipment, investigate your surroundings, negotiate with NPCs, and consider solutions beyond simply attacking whatever is in front of you. Not every encounter is balanced for you, if something looks too dangerous, it probably is.

Character Creation

Characters are Human at the start of the campaign. Ability scores are rolled 3d6 in order:

STR → INT → WIS → DEX → CON → CHA

There are four core classes:

Fighter, Cleric, Magic-User, and Thief.

Your character should have a reason to leave their previous life behind and a reason to continue adventuring when things become dangerous. The full character creation rules, setting information, cultures, technology, faiths, folklore, and campaign expectations can be found in the Player Guide:

Read the Mythic Briton Player Guide

What I'm Looking For

I'm looking for players who enjoy exploration, mystery, improvisation, roleplaying, and discovering the world through play. You don't need to be an expert on Anglo-Saxon England or Old-School Essentials. You do need to be willing to engage with the setting, make decisions for your character, and accept that failure and occasionally death. You should be comfortable with a game where the players drive the direction of the adventure rather than following a predetermined narrative.

If you enjoy folk horror, weird folklore, ancient ruins, morally complicated situations, dangerous exploration, and the feeling that something is watching from the trees, this may be the game for you.

Application

If you're interested, please read the Player Guide first and then complete the application form:

Apply to Play Mythic Briton

Please don't worry about writing the "perfect" application. I'm more interested in what sort of game you enjoy playing and what you would bring to the table than having an elaborate character concept before you've been accepted.

Multiple Session [Online][Other][Short Campaign][GIRL FRAME][Free][Saturday 7:00 PM CST] GIRL_FRAME :: ALASKAN_FRONTIER

Platform: Discord VC and FoundryVTT
Schedule: Saturdays at 7:00 PM CST, approximately 3 hours.
Session Zero planned for September 12th.

Premise:
Arctic Frontier, Toxic yuri, Imperialism, Handler/Hound. I've written up a setting document if you'd like the full details, but the short pitch is this:

This is a game of GIRL FRAME set in the Alaskan Frontier. Alaska has spent decades struggling with independent sovereignty after seceding from the major powers. The Foundation has already attempted to colonize the territory for its imperialist aims. However, a great disaster destroyed much of that project. Their military hardware was scattered across the territory and lost to the local population. After several years, the Foundation has returned to reassert its claims.

Expectations:
This is a campaign about military occupation, insurgency, exploitation of natural resources, and the strange relationships people develop on the frontier. Think Metal Gear Solid for that slightly out-there military science fiction. Think Jurassic Park for that strange instinct life has for finding a way. The game also takes heavy inspiration from Evangelion as well as World War II history.

I've been running and playing games since around VTM20. Most of my PBTA experience comes from KULT, so we'll be learning some things together. The game will be run over Discord VC with rolls and sheets handled through FoundryVTT. I'll be doing follow-ups and answering questions over the next two weeks leading up to Session Zero. Worst case, we learn a new system. Best case, we tell an interesting story with cool characters.

Form to Apply:

One Shot Slugblaster Sundays! [Other][Online][Sundays, 6 PM MST][Slugblaster][LGBTQ+]

In the small town of Hillview, teenage hoverboarders sneak into other dimensions to explore, film tricks, go viral, and get away from the problems at home. It’s dangerous. It’s stupid. It’s got parent groups in a panic. And it’s the coolest thing ever.

Hey! I'm Clover (He/Him) and I'm looking for 1 to 2 more players for a one-shot and short Slugblaster campaign. Wanting to move away from D&D with my main home game, chosen from some other options we will probably go back to and try out later (Daggerheart top amongst them), the group has settled on Slugblaster and is looking to try out a short one-shot sometime in September and likely transition into a short campaign, possibly with the same characters.

Sessions (and the one-shot) are weekly on Sundays starting at 6 PM MST with a cut-off at 10 PM MST, this schedule is set in stone and unlikely to change anytime soon. My hope is that should everything be a good fit, this is a group that can continue on generally system-agnostic (doing a formal system vote at the end of every campaign) but keeping the same schedule as it were as long as everyone is having fun and can make the timeslot. If you are looking for a quick system test or something super casual/low commitment, this is probably not the group for you.

Generally, we are a group that have been playing for a long time together, close to 8 years for some of the more senior members (having some folks come and go over the years). One of our players GMs on a different day of the week and we try to get together for chatting, gaming, or watching movies every so often. I'm looking for people that would be interested (schedules permitting) to jump around some different systems following this campaign, maybe try their own hand at GMing (if interested), and above all else just be a good hang. As a group, we've played and completed a number of 5e games (both homebrew & modules), and tried out some other systems like LANCER and Kids on Bikes. I (and I think the group as well) always find myself coming back to RP-heavy systems with interesting worlds and malleable mechanics, which is why Slugblaster stood out to me. All of us in the group (me + 3 players) are in our early to mid 20's and live around the continental U.S, mostly in EST and CST time zones.

On that note, I have no problem if this is your first time playing Slugblaster (as it will be with all of us). However, some experience with TTRPGS as a whole is a plus as we are all 5+ year players and DMs and have a grasp on roleplaying and general game mechanics between systems. I don't mind helping people out, however I don't want to feel like I'm playing anyone's characters for them. Having done some research on Slugblaster, familiarity with what kind of character you'd be interested in or touchstones you're pulling from are a plus as well.

If you are less familiar with Slugblaster these are some good resources to look into - Slugblaster.com, (which includes media touchstones under the Vibes section), and this review by Quinn's Quest (my exposure to the system).

About your Slugmaster
Hey! That's me! I was born and raised in Colorado and I have been running TTRPGS ever since my freshman year of highschool, this group actually being one of the first I started. I love to bake and spent some time in a culinary program after graduating, I have a French Bulldog named Ike who I would die for, and I would like to say that running these games is my biggest passion in life. I really try to put a lot of effort into exploring these worlds and making fun and exciting games for my friends (and mostly selfishly myself, because who doesn't love skateboarding). I've spent some time as a professional DM and currently run a game of Dungeon of the Mad Mage on another day of the week, and I don't think there has been a period in which I haven't been a player or a DM for over the past 8 or so years. I am however, sadly a poser as I have never set foot on a skateboard, but I am hoping my familiarity with Skate 3, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 & 2, and general media from the early 2000s will fill in the gaps. If you have any more questions for me, feel free to save them for interviews!

About the Applicant

There are a few prerequisites that I think are the bare minimum for being a good candidate for this group:

  1. A good internet connection and microphone. Being able to hear you with minimal background noise, distractions, and tech issues will be appreciated, things happen but if this is a weekly occurrence this is probably not a good fit. Access to Discord & FoundryVTT required as well, but familiarity with the latter is less important.
  2. Punctuality, being able to show up to sessions weekly and on time. I don't mind folks taking 5 - 10 to get situated and chat before we get started, but with having a hard cutoff I would like to make the most of our session time. Things happen, however frequent interruptions or schedule conflicts also probably means you are not a good fit for this group. I will always try to give a heads-up well in advance if we need to cancel, and have open communication amongst the players for scheduling. Having played together for almost a decade, this is the main thing I think has been the deciding factor in groups staying together.
  3. A general open-mindedness, kindness, and willingness to engage. We're going to be new scene partners and players together, so remembering that this is a game at its core and everyone is doing their best to tell a fun and interesting story is important. This group does have members that are part of the LGBTQ+ community and any sort of bigotry or hatred will not be tolerated in any way. I have no personal interest to get into deep, real-world politics with our games or trying to spread any ideology any which way, so all I ask is that people are respectful. I want you to be a fan of your character, of the other PCs, and of the world in general. Do crazy stuff! Have fun! Gas up your teammates! If not that, why do we even play TTRPGS?

Apply!

Thank you for reading this far! If you're interested in joining the group, please fill out this Google Form and wait to hear back from me. I will PM anyone over Discord who seems promising and we can have an interview 1-1 to answer any questions you may have and see if you would be a good fit for the group. A short session 0 and one-shot will be scheduled following this (likely 9/20 or 9/27), and if all goes well, transition into a short campaign following.

Multiple Session [Online] [Other] [Saturdays 6pm BST] Daggerheart: The Broken Accord

For nearly a thousand years, the six kingdoms have known peace. At the centre of the continent lies Concord, a neutral city where the kingdoms' rulers meet each year to reaffirm the ancient agreement that ended a devastating war. But peace is rarely as simple as it appears.

As tensions between the kingdoms rise, the annual celebration in Concord is interrupted by a violent incident that threatens to shatter centuries of diplomacy. As newly formed adventurers based in Concord, you are drawn into the investigation.

What begins as a single incident will lead you through political rivalries, dangerous secrets, and a history that the kingdoms would rather remain forgotten.

Multiple Session [Online] [WoD] [VtM V5] [GMT+1] Group looking for ST

Greetings! A group of 4 European friends are looking for a Storyteller to run a Chronicle of Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition.

For most of us, this would be our first time playing with this system and the setting.

The agreed upon day of the week would be Saturday. Preferably from 6 PM forwards.

Some details we would like to see in the Chronicle:

-Major east coast city of the U.S. like Boston or New York

-Camarilla for the player faction

-The Chronicle's preferred time period would be the 1990's, 2000's or 2010's

-Each of the player characters is a fledgling or a neonate with fairly limited knowledge of the Kindred world

-Chronicle tone should heavily lean towards seriousness

These are of course up for negotiation. But we all have concrete ideas of what kind of characters we would like to play as.

Feel free to DM me here in Reddit or in Discord with the name ainiv_alcyone

[Online][OTHER] Looking to Join or GM an Avatar Legends Game

Hey! I’m looking for an online group interested in playing Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game. I’d be happy either joining as a player or stepping up as the GM if there are enough interested people.
I have fairly limited hands-on experience with Avatar Legends specifically, so I’m still learning some of the finer points of the system. That said, I’m very interested in actually getting a chance to play it and become more familiar with how everything works in practice.

I do have a lot of TTRPG experience in general, both as a player and as a GM. I’ve been part of quite a few games and have also run plenty of campaigns myself, so while the Avatar Legends system is relatively new to me, tabletop roleplaying definitely is not.

I’m also a MASSIVE Avatar fan, so I’d be interested in a game that actually takes advantage of the setting. I’d love to explore different eras, nations, bending styles, politics, character development, traveling around the world, and everything else the setting has to offer.

I’m open to anything from a shorter adventure to a longer campaign if the group works well together. I’m not looking for any particular era or campaign premise right now, and I’d be happy to figure that out as a group. I’m also fine playing with people who are relatively new to the system themselves.

If you already have a group that needs another player, or if you’re interested in putting a new group together and need someone willing to GM, feel free to message me or leave a comment. We can figure out scheduling, platform, characters, and everything else from there.

GOBLIN TOWN: Build and run your own town of goblins! Gather a hoard, cause mayhem, cast dark rituals, discover things deep in the earth, slay heroes, and work towards your master plan! [Online] [Other] [Story-Focused] [Roleplay-Heavy] [Sundays] [18:00 CET] [17:00 GMT] [12:00 EST]

A Court of Goblins:

Goblins are deeply flawed creatures, driven by base desires. There are those, however, who are able to keep their baser impulses in check, rally others to their cause, and focus on a grander scheme. You play a group of them that, in understanding there is strength in numbers, have banded together to use your ill-gotten gains build a great goblin town deep in the Feywild. You gather a hoard, cause mayhem, cast dark rituals, and discover long forgotten things deep in the earth, all while working towards accomplishing your master plan.

This is a game about goblins using ill-gotten gains to build a town. You build traps and other defenses to keep the hoard you gather out of the hands of the greedy adventurers coming to steal it away. Find out just how long you can survive against the inevitable onslaught of heroism your deeds bring. Find out why goblins need to hoard all that gold, who builds all those traps, and how much fun killing adventurers is.

However, you’re not just monsters randomly causing chaos and mayhem. Goblins come and go, but the town outlives them, binds them together, and gives them a purpose. You map it out in detail as it’s built, then breathe life into it through play with events like revelry after a victorious raid, calamity striking as a tunnel collapses on your minions, or facing off against adventurers who dare enter your land. Your town is the main character of this story.

Town Themes

Every town is built around a theme, determined by its central building, chosen together as a group before the town is built. The theme gives you a set of buildings that you can build within it. The theme keeps players all on the same page thematically, allowing you to design characters that fit in well with the theme or fill a unique niche, as well as choosing steps in your master plan that go along with the theme. The choice of town theme is a statement about what kind of things the players want to do in the game. You can choose from the following central buildings, which determine your theme:

Enclave: Tapping Into the Arcane. Choose this if you want your town to be mystical from top to bottom. Its core feature is its twisted landscape, corrupting the area surrounding your town. An Enclave lets you build the following: academy, crucible, greenery, library, potion lab, scrying pool, and spawning chamber.

Forge: The Power of Industry. Choose this if you want a town full of monstrous inventions and steampunk tech. Its core feature is its power source, boosting the productivity and defenses of your town. A Forge lets you build the following: alchemist lab, guild hall, factory, mineshaft, testing chamber, vehicle bay, and workshop.

Hideout: Keeping Your Head Low. Choose this if you want to work as a cohesive unit and manipulate the other factions of the region. Its core feature is agents of chaos, allowing you to strongly influence other factions. A Hideout lets you build the following: dojo, gambling den, gear locker, obstacle course, planning room, roost, and tavern.

Stronghold: Through Strength of Arms. Choose this if you want to face challenges with pure military might. Its core feature is warband, giving you a powerful minion that can raid the region. A Stronghold lets you build the following: barracks, bestiary, fighting pit, funeral pyre, smithy, war drums, and war room.

Temple: Serving a Greater Power. Choose this if you want to focus on a certain god and their domains. Its core feature is divine intervention, which you can use to cast a powerful spell from your god. A Temple lets you build the following: altar, antechamber, augury circle, dormitory, reliquary, penance chamber, scriptorium.

The Callings

When you create a character, you choose a calling, one of several paths that goblins follow:

The Brute: You’re called to battle and delight in facing down your enemies, chopping them to pieces in brutal combat. For you, the bloodier, the better. Your confidence with a weapon in hand manifests outside of combat when commanding others, bellowing orders like you expect them to be obeyed and bashing heads on the off chance they aren't.

The Conniver: You lurk in the background pulling the strings, laying out intricate plans, and having others do your bidding. For you, revenge is a dish best served cold. Methodical is an understatement. You’re in complete control at all times.

The Crafter: You spend hours in your workshop mixing together alchemical reagents and constructing dangerous devices with a gleeful disregard for your own safety. You strap up before you leave the town, well-prepared for any situation.

The Hunter: You’re at home running with the beasts of the forest. Relentlessly chasing down prey brings you closer to the animal inside of you. And yet, you're deliberate, never missing a sign, always on the trail. And when you finally corner your target, there’s no hesitation to finish it.

The Marauder: For you, battle is a dance. The thrill of outmaneuvering your enemies sends blood pumping through your veins. Your moves are precise and calculated and your awareness of the field of battle gives you the ability to see the bigger picture in other situations as well.

The Shadow: You're at home in the darkness, lurking unseen. You can slip into and out of areas unnoticed. The element of surprise is your greatest weapon and you can often find your way into and out of the trickiest of situations.

The Shaman: You understand the dark power of nature and are drawn to the hidden world of spirits. You might revere them and seek their favor, or perhaps enslave them for your own purposes. Either way, the spirits speak and you hear their mad whispers of vengeance.

The Warlock: You reach out and grab raw, arcane magic by its neck and bend it to your will. You dabble in dangerous arts and know that true power must be wrested away from others. A deep, unquenched thirst for power dwells inside of you.

The Zealot: You heed the words of your dark god. You believe in them fiercely, knowing that those who serve will be rewarded. The more believers you can recruit, the higher the chance your god will recognize you. They bestow power onto you, from which your intense conviction comes.

The Details

Age: In general, we're looking for people between 21 and 9000, but this is not a strict cutoff by any means.

Content Warnings: This campaign contains dark drug use, grim humor, minor horror, strong language, violence, and lawyers.

Day: We'll be playing on Sundays, though we'll occasionally host optional sessions on other days based on player interest.

Frequency: We'll usually have 2 sessions per month, though we may have 3 if it's one of those strange months with 5 Sundays.

The GM: I'm originally from Atlanta, but I move around a lot for work. I like snowboarding, stage acting, novels, and tabletop games. I've been GMing for a few years, but I'm new to playing online. I'm male and gay in real life, though I play all sorts of characters in games.

Length: We generally average around 4-5 hours per session.

Location: We'll be playing online using Discord and Owlbear Rodeo. We're new to OR, so if you have experience with that, we'll be asking you a lot of questions.

Start Date: September 27 or October 4th, 2026

System: The game we're playing is called Wicked Ones, which is a simple, story-focused system. You don't need to be familiar with this system as we'll be teaching as we play.

Size: Our plan is to have 5 total players.

Time: We'll be playing at 18:00 CET / 17:00 GMT / 12:00 EST / Whatever time that is where you live.

What We're Looking For: This is a roleplay heavy, story focused campaign for players looking to get in character, give their character a unique voice, explore their character's motivations, and give their character an arc.

If you're interested, fill out the survey here. If you're selected, the next step will be a 15 minute Discord call.

Multiple Session Recruiting for Thursday Commander Pod on Tabletop Simulator

Hello! Our (100% free) discord server waxes and wanes in activity, but for the past few months we've consistently managed Commander games on Thursday nights EST. We're looking to grow our group. We play any night of the week, but Thursday is specifically Pod night and we encourage people to jump in for games. We take new players and experienced. We are generally bracket 3 and vary from the top to the bottom of that bracket. Tabletop Simulator is the preferred method of play, but we have players willing to do Convoke as well. If you'd like an invite to try joining us, give me a shout u/NurseGuts !

P.S. Sorry if this is promotion? I'm not sure.
