Is it a Utah mormon momfluencer thing. The only time I see these trailers with such mods are truckers(on their job) and the whitetrash momfluencers with 4+ kids all living in such cramped spaces treating a recreational vehicle as not recreational primary residence. Not even a million dollar worth of mods can fix such claustrophobic living spaces for prolonged stay. I would rather live in a yacht with open windows and sea.
I grew up with 5 siblings, and now have 2 kids of my own as well as like 14 nieces and nephews. I feel qualified to point out that most kids stink if left to their own devices for very long. I guarantee you those rigs smell to high heaven with 4+ kids in that cramped space - especially by the end of a hot day.
I'm sure they exist, but they're going to be the children and well off, well educated, social people.
Gotta have at least one parent staying home with the kids, they need to be smart enough to design good enough lesson plans for each kid and teach them, and they've got to be social enough to give their kids plenty of time to socialize with other kids their age.
That points to having plenty of money so that normal people's problems aren't their problems.

I dunno know why people act like being homeschooled automatically means you were abused. Yes, some abusive parents use homeschooling to isolate their kids (I’m one of those cases, dad wanted to isolate us, mum genuinely wanted us to have a less stressful education) but the homeschooling itself was great.
My parents were abusive and my mum's primary reason for homeschooling was to shelter us from the devil's influence that we would be exposed to in public schools soooo I'm not exactly a helpful example there lol. My science curriculum tried to teach me that god created the earth a few thousand years ago and my history curriculum was full of lots of errors (but so are many public schools) but the other classes were pretty good 🙃
yea you know who's really normal is kids who go to public school. in fact thats all it takes to make a kid normal. public school = normal. yup. solid logic.
Observation bias, and why some kids are homeschooled over others.
Many homeschooled kids were/are autistic are were considered problems for the class/school. Neurodivergent people are highly over represented in the school to prison pipeline.
Ive met quite a few normal homeschooled kids, and quite a few more absolutely screwed up public school kids. Its almost like good parenting and care matters more than the exact plan of education.
Yeah except the lack of standardized regulation and testing from state to state and the lack of contact with mandatory reporters does matter exactly because of bad parents. Screwed up kids in public school still are observed by and interact with adults outside their home on a regular basis and they are still held (ish) to educational standards to make sure they can actually read and do basic math and know actual (ish) history by the time they reach adulthood. Homeschooled kids with bad parents do not have those guardrails and the amount of abuse and educational neglect is staggering in most home school circles. It's one of those situations where I'm sorry it's not fair to those doing it right and for the right reasons m, but the consequences for children of parents who do it wrong or for the wrong reasons are so severe, it must be more tightly regulated and in my view shouldn't even be legal outside of closely monitored edge cases for those with extenuating circumstances. And "i dont want my kid to learn the devil's science or sit next to queers" shouldn't be an extenuating circumstance.
:waves: Homeschooled myself and weird enough to get 2 STEM masters degrees and work in aerospace. My elementary school was filled with mold the district didn't acknowledge until they quietly sued the architectural firm a decade later and that's why I was taken out of class.
"Hi guys, follow me on a typical day of worldschooling my kids while living in a van full time! Here's my queen sized bed that I sleep in, here's the pull out drawer my kid sleeps in he loves it lol!"
