If you want to lose a friend, make them a roommate.

If you want to lose a wife, live in a van.

But my guess is this thing will be parked in the driveway of their mansion. So it doesn’t really matter. They’ll still probably get divorced though, after he knocks up the au pair.

Okay? Youve shown me a thread where the bias is aimed towards people with bad experiences. Not exactly evidence. I could probably name 15 households i know personally where friends have loved together happily.

Even if it is an old saying, more in jest than the basis of reality. Doesnt mean most of the redditors hear arent being a jealous and miserable bunch.
