They said "100k and a months planning and work", so the time is on top of that. I'm not seeing more than 30k material.

The wood panels and insulation maybe No but electrical and all the proper connections ands fasteners and sliders and hindges actually add up quick. A built dresser is like 500 bucks sometimes. This ignores all the tools needed.

Don't forget plumbing. I think this would take more than 30k in supplies to do. Especially when you factor in it looks like the used mostly high end finishing.

Just the materials in that build-out are +$50K.

Retail price to have some one do that for you runs +$100K.

You’re not finding a nice van like that used for less than $50k (even other brands) and you wouldn’t want to invest all this time and effort and money in to unfitting a van that’s got a ton of miles on it.

They do this for a living, converting vans for clients, so client pays for everything. They just get pay for labor.

I outfitted a transit van about this well (didn't have a top tent) for about $20k, so yeah 100 isn't unreal.
