Tips How to get 85% payout on Fansly (for new joiners)

Hi guys,

Just a reminder for those who have not signed up yet, you can get a discount in fees when you join by using my referral link. Fansly kindly added this discount to my link 3 years ago when I created the r/fansly_advice subreddit in order to give an extra perk to members of our community. I know there are peeps who post here asking about Fansly, so I know this will be very beneficial for some who have considered joining and want to keep a bigger % of their income in the run up to Christmas!

In order to sign up to Fansly and redeem this fee discount:

  1. Create an account on Fansly, you do not need a special link or code for this step, you are simply creating an account.
  2. Once you have created an account, you can then use my link to apply to be a creator, this is the referral link to apply to be a creator: https://fansly.com/application/form?r=sansa_starkers this link should add sansa_starkers in the creator referral code box.

What benefits will you get from using this link?

-You will get a 5% discount from platform fees for the first 3 months. This means you will keep 85% of your income, rather than 80% for those months.

*This is a referral link, so not only do you get a discount on fees, I will get a referral percentage (this won't be taken out of your income, but Fansly's cut). These earnings will allow me to put the time aside to help you guys with advice and support and maintaining these communities :).

Benefits of getting started with Fansly:

-They have some of the most responsive and helpful support staff compared with other platforms (as you can see with how active staff are in responding to questions on r/fansly_advice and r/officialfansly).

-They cover chargebacks in most cases (basically whenever a customers has gone through their back to chargeback on content and services that you did deliver).

-They are more kink friendly and allow a wider array of fetish content than other sites (such as allowing lactation content).

-Unlike onlyfans and other platforms, they have an internal discovery with their FYP and recommendations feature. This is really useful for people who might be struggling with or just want another method of promoting aside from social media. As Fansly is ever growing in popularity, there is a big audience viewing their FYP feature that is a missed opportunity to not tap into.

-If you already have a profile on another platform like onlyfans, it's always a good idea to diversify rather than rely on one platform and you already have the content ready to go.

-We have built a brilliant community over on r/fansly_advice and there is an official fansly support subreddit r/officialfansly that will help you with any questions about your Fansly journey.

Hope this is helpful to someone and please let me know if you need any help or have questions,
Sansa 💖

Mod announcement 📣 About the new Top creator user flairs and how to verify for one

Following on from my post yesterday, the feedback was very positive so I will be going ahead with the new flairs for creators who are in the top 2.5% and above.

This will be split into two tiers:

⭐️ Established creator ⭐️
The requirements for this flair will be that you are between 0.9 -2.5%

🏆 Top creator 🏆
Top creators are required to be 0.8% and below.

Some people pointed out that there is a large jump between incomes for someone say 2.5% compared to 0.9% or 0.8% to 0.08% etc. This is true however for the purpose of not overcomplicating things, I think these tiers adequately get across whether someone is making a very decent income on onlyfans and those that are far exceeding a standard income. It's also worth considering that not everyone wants others to know their exact % or income. If individual creators wish to disclose their specific % or income they can do so.

How to verify for one of the new creator flairs:

  1. Fit the requirements stated above
  2. Add the emojis ⭐️🏆 to the end of your onlyfans bio. (This can be removed once verified).
  3. Write the day's date on a piece of paper along with r/onlyfansadvice and your reddit username. Scrunch the paper up then flatten it out again. Hold the piece of paper up and take 2 photos, one facing the camera and one in profile. Nudity is of course not required, however if you are a faceless creator it must be clear that you are the same person as in your content.
  4. Create a screen recording that shows you going from your onlyfans profile, navigating to statements from the side bar then showing the statements page with the %. Please do not make any cuts or edits to this.
  5. Upload the photos and screen recording to imgur (or redgifs if NSFW).
  6. Send a modmail containing you onlyfans link and the imgur link to your selfies and screen recording.

I will let you know once the flair has been assigned.

Please comment below if you have any questions.

Vent Im about to give up on IG

The hypocrisy and inconsistance of this plataform as a promo channel is ridiculous. Too vanilla content just doesnt have engagement and just die flat. Edgier content, but still SFW, get engagement, account starts to get distributed, 2 weeks after, that content gets flagged and the account gets restricted distribution. Then IG itself suggests other accounts for inspiration: all with fucking EXPLICIT content. To quote Mugato on Zoolander "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills"!

I need advice W9 section 6 not working

Upvotes

Hello everyone! I am trying to fill out the W-9 for only fans but the section 6 where I have to put in city, state and zip code (United States) is gray and I am not able to enter anything in that field. It seems like it may be a bug. Is anyone else encountering this problem right now? Thank you and have a good day

Discussion Types of interactions with Costars. Opinions?

Upvotes

I’m very about other peoples experiences with various costars. Ive had so many varying interactions from getting to know one another, agreeing to work with one another, to the actual in-person scenes. But some trends stand out more than others.

  1. The "Let's totally work together" [not]. I feel that when you first meet costars online, a good chunk of people will say something like "Oh yea, I like yours style/vibe, lets get together soon" and they eventually just fade away and stop talking to you. They never commit to a date. They continue to post and just went from leaving you on read to never reading your messages entirely. Is this a common trend for men and women alike?

  2. The one-size fits all assumption. Some creators love flirting and sexually connecting with their costars and love going out for drinks and socializing for that building of rapport. Others strictly say "This is business, you wont know anything about my personal life as I keep my work/personal lives separate and we wont be doing anything extra off camera, socially sexually, or otherwise" In either case, I see that the social butterfly personality assumes that the "exclusively business" creators are like them or visa versa. A lot of people seem to assume "everyone is just like me" What kind of conversations does one have to bridge the gap between opposing views? Or does a creator just stick to people with more like-minded views?

  3. The Mine but not Yours dilema. Some creators have specific brands or a style they want to adhere to. Some costars invite others to film for them on their website but don’t want to make an effort on "How can I return the favor?" Ive had plenty of invitations to come costar for them but because they make no effort to acknowledge my requests to do another shoot featuring them on my pages, I kind of deny myself from working with those types of folks. Does anyone else run into this? Is there maybe a way where fusion styles are proposed? I’m so bothered by this one because I see multiple shoots being better for networking and exposure but some people just don’t want to break away from their brand.

I’m sure there are other issues that I have not ever faced. But I’m curious what people think or how they navigate similar interactions or lack thereof.

Discussion Block happy

Is anyone else insanely block happy? As soon as I get a weird vibe I so quick to hit the block button. First message you send to me weird? Block. Talking around in circles? Block. Can’t follow basic instructions? SO blocked.

I just don’t have time, or patience, or genuinely energy for anything that disturbs my vibes. I wonder sometimes if I’m too quick to the draw or if it’s worth it to keep standards high with cleaning out the garbage.

What about you guys? How often do you block subs and what makes you block them?

I need advice How's it going being a MILF?

Hey everyone, my question is how's it going being a MILF? I feel like a lot of my fans subscribe who don't have the financial means to pay what I ask, since they're young and don't have much money. Please tell me about your experiences, thank you very much.

Discussion Reddit posts

I’m really interested to know how often everyone posts on Reddit and how many different subreddits you tend to use.
Do you generally choose a set number of subreddits and consistently post your content across those, or are you constantly trying out new ones?
Also, for those who monitor what performs well, have you found that changing the posting time or caption can make a noticeable difference when a post doesn’t get many views?
And when deciding whether to post again in a particular subreddit, do you base that more on engagement, views, or a combination of both?
I feel like I need a much better system for Reddit rather than just posting and hoping for the best…

I need advice Someone got into my account

I’m a little scared, someone got into my account. I received an email saying they had tried to access from another location, so I changed my password immediately and activated two-step verification. Luckily, they weren’t inside for a long time, but now I’m worried that they’ve seen my personal data. Has this happened to anyone else? What did they do about it?

UPDATE: It was the pishing emails, damn it 😭😭. Turns out I had already used one back on August 2nd, fucking hell, I just want to cry because those bastards always try to get away with it. I’ve got 2-step verification set up now; I’m going to try looking for a site that checks for data leaks.

Discussion How long did it take?

I know every niche and marketing strategy is different, but just for perspective — how long did it take you to grow to decent numbers? And please tell us what you consider “decent numbers” too, so we have something to compare with! 😄

Getting started is hard, and consistency is key. But sometimes it would be nice to know what kind of timeline is realistic. 🙌

I need advice Is it even worth it to try to start when I’m this early into my transition?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice on how I can get more engagement from advertising, or any advertising tips (especially from other trans creators).

I just launched my OF a few days ago (no customers yet), and I’ve immediately noticed I don’t get the same level of engagement on Reddit as I did when I was just posting my body to see what kind of reactions I would get. I’m trying to learn how to use instagram and TikTok, but I’ve never been great at those things.

I’m only a few months into HRT but I’ve been doing body feminizing training 5 days a week since March, and I’m getting really happy with how I look. I thought I could start in femboy and twink spaces and move into trans spaces the more feminine I start to look, but I’m thinking I’d be shooting myself in the foot if I try to build a following of gay men, and then become more and more effeminate over time.

I get more consistent reactions from these spaces, but when I try to post in trans spaces, the response is like radio silence. Maybe I’m jumping the gun trying to start this too soon, but I’m really tired of working normal jobs that I don’t find creatively fulfilling, and I earnestly want to do OF and other stuff online. I’m also planning on doing SFW YouTube and Twitch, and was hoping I could get good engagement cross-promoting with OF, but I just feel quite disparaged with how it’s been going so far.

Any thoughts?

I need advice Subscribers always wanna chat, but never wanna pay… How do I avoid that and make it clear?

Dear fellow creators :(
My OF is at 7.99 a month, I regularly post and make clear the subscription pay is just to see the content behind the wall. But… I get two types of subs: ones that never talk to me - Im fine with that, but then there are those that talk a lot and pay nothing or little. I don’t know how to still in my persona reinforce payments or otherwise not giving away too much of my time for free. Could I be giving away a wrong impression or is it always like this?

I need advice Content farmer?

Hi everyone! I think I’ve mentioned this in a previous post, but I’m fairly new to this type of content and my OF page is only a few weeks old.
So far, most of my messages have really just been getting to know my subs, figuring out what kind of content they’re interested in, and then offering to send them something for a fee. Some of it has turned into sexting too, which I’m still trying to navigate. I haven’t quite figured out how to stop a casual conversation before it gets too heated and bring up pricing without making it awkward 😂
Anyway, yesterday I had someone subscribe and tip me based on my profile, and then immediately message me. They were extremely nice, but also very to the point that they were just looking for photos. They told me what they wanted, I sent them a photo series, and they paid for it. Super easy interaction.
The only thing that made me a little suspicious was that when I looked at their profile, the account had literally been created that day. Part of me wondered if they were just trying to get content to steal/repost somewhere else, but maybe I’m being paranoid and this is totally normal?
Once someone purchases our content, I’m assuming there’s only so much we can do to control what happens to it afterward, right? Are there any red flags or obvious signs you guys look for that might indicate someone is buying content specifically to steal or repost it?
Still learning all of this, so I’d appreciate any advice!

I need advice Best POV with DJI Osmo

Recently got one of these. And it’s ok but I can’t seem to get it right. Mostly for POV BJ vids

On her knees
On the bed
In a chair

I can’t seem to get the lighting right. The angles right. Etc

Anyone that has one of these- is there a specific option best for this. Or any accessories.

Also, would like some ideas about lighting since in the past I’ve used an iPhone in the dark with a cheap MagSafe flash and it worked well

Thanks!

I need advice What to do when people stop subscribing completely

Hey all,

I need some advice. I've been doing OF as a super casual side hustle for several years now, only ever really posting when I felt like it, not really promoting it whatsoever, and never really ever having more than 5-10 paid subscribers at a time. I have a medium-sized following on TikTok (about 30k), so most of my subs come from that.

This year, after a several month hiatus, I decided to start taking OF more seriously. I completely revamped my page, added a menu, and started posting every day as well as actually promoting. I actually did pretty well the first 2-3 weeks, and made it up to 40 paid subs. However, after the first month, my growth has slowed to a trickle. After getting about 2 subs a day when I first started promoting a month ago, I'm now only getting 1 or 2 subs a week.

I've read on here that promoting on Reddit is the best place, and I try to post in like 20-30 subs in my niche several times a week. But I honestly haven't gotten any subs from Reddit at all, most of my subs still come from TikTok, and even those have slowed down. The main things I know that are working against me are probably that my page is fairly new, and doesn't have tons of content (about 100 photos and 8 videos so far). But even so, for how often I promote, 1-2 subs a week feels like so little 😭

My main question is, what can I do to speed things back up, or are dry spells this slow just part of the game? My low content count didn't seem to be bothering people a few weeks ago, but maybe I just got lucky. My page isn't too expensive, it's $10, and it's almost always on sale for 50% off anyway. Do other creators often go through dry spells where suddenly nobody is subbing or buying? Do I just need to post more often/have more content? Am I just taking terrible photos? Have I just deluded myself into thinking this is for me? Help! 😭

Discussion Sub not being looked at

Anyone know what’s going on with r/letsverify ? I posted my request 19 days ago and still nothing. I scrolled all the way back to my post and there were maybe 3 randomly people verified through that scroll. Everyone else is still under review, and the item of the week is still changing every week so I’m assuming it’s still being watched? My first account I made was verified in like 2 days in January.

About 15 days ago, what appears to be the same fan started visiting my profile and constantly requesting fetish content. It has become an obsession. I’m concerned that he may be stealing my content to resell it.

When I contacted OnlyFans, I was told that unusual activity had been detected on the fan’s account and that a refund had been issued. The problem is that the refund is deducted directly from my current balance, which I find completely unfair.

I haven’t been able to withdraw my earnings for two weeks because of this person. I requested an IP block, but I keep being told that there’s nothing they can do.

I need advice Tips and/or advice for discovery (reddit and otherwise)

I’m hoping some of you who actually use Reddit successfully for discovery can tell me what I’m missing, because I feel like I’m stuck in a loop 😭

I really want to use Reddit more because I know it can be a great place to get discovered, but I’m having an incredibly hard time figuring out where I’m actually allowed to post.

It seems like every subreddit I find has a different reason I can’t participate yet. I don’t have enough karma, NSFW/OF profiles aren’t allowed, sellers aren’t allowed, I misunderstand something about the caption/title rules, verification is required, etc.

I’ve been trying to do this the “right” way by finding a relevant subreddit, carefully reading ALL of its rules, making a post specifically for that community, and then posting. But even after doing that, I’ve had posts removed, and a lot of the time I don’t even know what rule I broke or why it was removed. I’m getting nervous about experimenting because I obviously don’t want to get banned from communities or put my actual Reddit account at risk.

I've tried going the completely non-promotional route and participating normally just to build karma. I posted a random question to AskReddit hoping to get some comment karma/participation going, and even THAT was removed. 😂

Then I thought, okay, I’ll find a subreddit specifically meant for OnlyFans promotion but it looks like that subreddit was deleted/

So…am I missing something obvious about how creators are supposed to get started on Reddit?

For those of you who successfully use Reddit for discovery:

• What subreddits were you actually able to use when you were newer/had low karma?

• Are there creator-friendly subreddits that allow people with OF/NSFW profiles to participate, even if the post itself is completely SFW?

• How did you initially build enough karma to get into the communities you actually wanted to use?

• Is there a better way to find appropriate subreddits than searching, reading every single rule, trying a post, and hoping you interpreted everything correctly?

I’d also genuinely appreciate advice about discovery OUTSIDE of Reddit. I use other social platforms too, but I’m trying to be extremely careful because I know some platforms are not friendly toward adult creators or direct OF promotion. I don’t want to sacrifice an established social account just trying to get more eyes on my content.

Basically, I’m looking for any advice on safely getting discovered as an adult creator without constantly having posts removed, getting kicked out of communities, shadowbanned, or risking my accounts.

I’m absolutely willing to put in the work. I just feel like I’m spending wayyy more time figuring out where I’m allowed to exist than actually promoting. 😭 And when I think I followed all the rules, I still get removed.

Any advice, subreddit recommendations, strategies that worked when you were starting out, or things you wish you had known would be incredibly appreciated. ❤️

Vent I just got blocked without reason

To be honest I am not sure if I got blocked or if the user just deleted their account…

I sent earlier some messages to my subscribers, including pics, but he just blocked me. The conversation just disappeared. I checked my stats and his name appears as gray.

He subscribed yesterday & today blocked me. Am I getting a CB?

It looks like a fake account too, Bitch replying on my posts trying to get engagement from MY subs! I deleted both comments from my posts and then restricted and reported their account, I don’t tolerate that bs. Especially if it’s just someone trying to profit using other creators pics 🙄
I didn’t redact any of their account info because I’m 90% sure they’re stealing from other creators, different ladies in the pictures on the profile and I guess they can’t decide if their name is Luna or Chloe 😓

ghosted rant.

no advice. i know i'm dumb. dude subbed to my VIP OF (free sfw chatting) super sweet, kept initiating conversation even when I wouldn't- continued paying : would double text later on or a day later (no love bombing or weird vibes at all) finally just gave him my tele. no lines passed for a little. i sent stuff in that time and chatted a lot. lots of talks of getting involved with me. very flirty- again. i knew. but he was PERSISTENT about that stuff.

first time today he tried something and i made it a joke.
then he mentioned something about the bathrobe ... and I said what bathrobe? Then he covered it up with saying that he had a dream about me in the shower again - i said ... again? he had an excuse, tried to sext again. i said 👀 are you trying to sext for free- he apologizes a bunch said he'd love to pay. i made a voice note about the clear blurred line- he sent a note back but i was busy - went to check my chats a little later, not even 20 mins and he's gone. checked everywhere else we were on - ghosted.

i knew in my head the whole time. but ya know how it goes. no advice needed. i knew better and i don't even know this dude fr 😂 but, I'm in my luteal so anyone else have some .. not heartbreak obvi but like. ... 'oh okay it was just the OF thing' stories to make me feel better?

🤍xx

I need advice Do I get rid of my Free page?

Hey cuties! I hope August has brought you lots of money and good whales 😁
But that’s not why I’m here. I’m sort of stuck on what to do and could use some feedback.

I have 3 pages. My NO PPV Page is 85% of my OF Income. My OG page I’ve had since 2017 and has over 8k posts is 11% of my income on OF and then rounding out the last 4% is my free page.

With the % being so little…would you just get rid of it? Or revamp it into a video store page? With a free preview pic or trailer for free and the full vid locked behind a paywall.

I love the video store idea but I have over 400-500 videos (I’m a Veteran SW as they call it) and I don’t have the time to make trailers for every video. Nor do I know who to go to for something like that. Maybe just sell bundles then in posts? Idk.

My OG page I’ve turned into an “Slutty Archive” I guess you could say. Filled with photos mainly and short video clips and the rest is locked behind a paywall. Like pussy and the good stuff. I no longer will be posting on it as of the 1st but I’m keeping it because of rebills and people who want to see my old stuff.

Sorry this is so long. My ADHD meds make me yap a lot. I just don’t have the energy to run 3 pages anymore and don’t know what direction my free page should go in.
