Hey everyone!
I've been teaching drums for a little over six years, and I recently took a look at how I introduce the instrument to total beginners and realized the traditional way can be kind of a drag. Staring at sheet music and doing repetitive pad drills for weeks isn't why many people buy a drum kit.
So, I completely rebuilt my beginner curriculum from scratch. The main goal now is just getting people comfortable behind the kit and making actual beats & fills much faster, while slipping the technique and timing stuff in naturally. It's all about quick wins.
Since all my lessons are 100% online via Zoom, you don't have to worry about hauling gear anywhere. You just need a webcam, a decent internet connection, and your kit.
I have a few open spots right now. If you've been wanting to learn but didn't know where to start, feel free to shoot me a message.
Happy to answer any questions here or in the DMs!
Thanks & happy drumming! 😎🤘🥁
